I am a avid ancestry buff and take immense pleasure in connecting the past to the present. I am in awe of some of the many trials and tribulations many of my ancestors endured during their lifetime.|
I also find that the mothers side of the family seems to get forgotten in history and that we have many more family members out there that we have never met.
I enjoy exploring the many local cemeteries and feel very sad when I find many of them neglected and in very poor condition and it frustrates me that much history is being forgotten due to the neglect.
So, if I can preserve even a little bit of the past with others by taking photographs of their loved ones, then it is my pleasure to help. I have no issues in sharing any photo that I have taken and if you wish to have a photo personally emailed to you, send me a message. Credit of the photo taken is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Joyce, I know Telesphore must be a cousin, I just need to figure out where he connects now.

Mom said walk from the large stone to the west, its a little headstone about a foot tall, and the baby name is Alice Ponsart or Aline Ponsart and Jean Baptiste Ansay is on the top of the stone, deaths are within days apart.
Maybe 5 rows over or so to the north. Thinks maybe another Ansay buried near there too.
This large Ansay are related to the Emonds.
Mom wants to know if you are related to the Cahoone's fish market, in Fairhaven Sam's Cahoone's fish market.

I showed this to my mother and she said this is not ours-related somehow though-same last name and from the same town. My great grandfather is buried in the same cemetery as Jean Baptiste Ansay and has a baby buried there a few days later. Thanks for the picture. I will work on finding out the relationship.

|Amansolillo||RE: Sebastiano and Joseph Uccello|
I appreciate the help in locating Sebastiano and Joseph Uccello's graves. Thank you for making their memorial pages. Once the snow melts, could you take pictures of their graves? Here's some more information about Sebastiano if you would like more added to his bio. He was born in Canicattini Bagni, Siracusa, Sicilia, the son of Giuseppe Uccello and Santa Cultrera. His (known) siblings were Paolo, Vincenzo, Salvatore, Emanuela, and Emanuele Uccello.

Thanks Joyce for the nice photo
|Amansolillo||RE: Giuseppina Petrozzi|
Sebastiano Uccello was the brother of my great-grandfather. Sebastiano immigrated from Italy in 1908. He married Giuseppina most likely in 1911. They had two children that survived infancy: Joseph Uccello and Santina Uccello (Pagliarini). Sebastiano died on 13 March 1919 in Providence at the age of 29. According to his death record, which I once found at the state archive, he died due to complications from a diabetic coma and a fractured clavicle. My best guess is that he is buried in St. Ann's Cemetery, but their index at the registry only goes as far back as 1921. Where he is buried is probably mentioned on his death record (if it is, I must have forgotten to record that information), so I will need to go back to the archives and find it.
