I am married and retired, probably have too much time on my hands, but would like to make any contributions I can to aid in the genealogy and ancestry searches of our family and anyone interested in their own searches. This has become a passion for me and I really have enjoyed those I have become acquainted with along the way.|
I want to thank the folks who make Findagrave possible; this is such a worthwhile endeavor. God bless everyone involved.

|Patricia Dacus||Re: Dorsey Dacus|
I will send thru the edits. I may request a few transfers if you don't mind. Thank you for your help. I too think findagrave is a wonderful genealogy research tool and I try to make it as helpful to others as possible.
|Patricia Dacus||Dorsey Dacus|
Dorsey J. Dacus in Memphis Memorial Gardens (88180163)is linked to the wrong Nathanial Dacus. The man she is linked to died 1 yr before Dorsey was born. Dorsey's correct husband was Nathanial Aubrey Dacus (48905861)also buried in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Lafayette Cnty, MS. Dorsey's maiden name was Lacey (her daughter Maureen was given the middle name of Lacey, her mother's maiden name). If you would like me to send an edit request I am happy to do so but thought you might need an explanation about being linked to the wrong Nathanial. I know McElroys in Montgomery Cnty MS. Are you related? Thanks, Pat Dacus
|Mindy Stern||Gerwin Family|
I am the biological grandchild of Dorothy and Daniel Gerwin, their daughter Gloria was my birth mother. I see that you have information regarding my uncle Tom's grave, I was wondering if you had any information about the family as I am always interested in finding more answers as everyone had died before I had found them.
Thank you so much,
|William Grant Kennedy||RE: Leslie Baker|
Thanks for your response.
|William Grant Kennedy||Leslie Baker|
I am inquiring about Leslie Baker buried at Shady Grove in Pontotoc County. Do you know who his parent were?
I also notice your maiden name was Wise. any relation to Levi Johnston Wise born in Alabama and moved to Union County, MS. If so, you may know Carol Wise Rushing who lives in Memphis area.
|CemeteryRose||Re: Sophia Levy Cohn memorial #143394962|
Thank you for notifying me about the biographical information found on the gravestone of Sophia Levy Cohn at Temple Israel Cemetery in Memphis. I've now added a short bio to her memorial based on her obituary, which confirmed the B'nai Brith Home as her place of death. Thank you, also, for adding a photo of her gravestone to her F.A.G. memorial.
|Linda Wayman||Re: Donna Katz|
Martha, you were absolutely right. Thank you so much for the information.

Thank you so much for the headstone photo.
Your time and effort are much appreciated!
|MIRRIAH||Floyd Estes Kelly Sr.|
Thanks for putting Mr. Kelly's vitals on here. I have some information for you on him if you are interested. Precisely his marriage license to Mildren Lathan Faulkner, daughter of John Samuel Faulkner and Mary Omelia McCain. Floyd and Mildred were married in Tipton County, Tennessee on December 26, 1916. I have a copy of their marriage license and will be happy to send it to you. My branch to this family is the Faulkners.
Have a great day and happy hunting!
