For changes to any memorial I manage, please use the Suggest A Correction "SAC" feature on the memorial under the Edit tab on the top right hand side of each memorial. Messages for changes left here may not be made.

Please do not copy and post personal photographs of my family members to other websites such as ancestry.com without my permission. I do not have a problem with reusing my tombstone photos, but credit would be a good idea as they are my photos. Also note that I did not take all of the photos on my memorials and can't give permission for the ones I didn't take to be reused.

My husband and I started trying to trace our roots back to Europe about 10 years ago. We were fortunate that several of our ancestors had kept some records and created family books which were the start of our adventures. We were surprised to learn that both of our families had branches in this country since the 1700's (my Stones/Nowels and his Howards/MacDonalds). Most of the entries I've made have some connection to these families, although remote at times (cousins many times removed). A few are just made from photos taken as we walked a cemetery looking for our family members.

No small stones around the big marker that say Paul or Minnie. I think it is the right marker. When I walked up to it I expected small markers, as there is plenty of room. I will see if Jim, the sextant can tell me if that is the correct one. No need for more requests.

This is the marker in section 4 at Spring Grove. No first names or dates are on this marker.

Thanks for catching the typo in the date. I know the source that the original owner used and was able to check it.

I appreciate knowing about the need for correction.
I am slowing adding pictures of the markers.
If you want me to work on anyone in particular or have any additions, happy to help.

I got your note.
I think it's corrected now.
If this is your relative, let me know so I can transfer to you.
Thank you

RE: Margaret Cooper Transfer
Thank you for your response. I am posting my profile on this message in case I didn't edit it properly on Find A Grave: I discovered Find A Grave about 4 years ago and realized that so many kind people had posted wonderful things about my kin. So, I thought that my info would mean something and it was time that I help other people. I did not know how to do it so I posted flowers and wrote a bio on the decedent on their memorial. A kind lady very active on Find A Grave told me I was doing it wrong. She told me to first request that a memorial be transferred to me and then put the bio in the proper place. If the person managing it cared, they would ask me to explain my relationship. Or, I can send info to them. This has worked very well and I have found new cousins! You are welcome to share my info but it would be nice to give me credit also.

I noticed that you appear to have a relationship with the Stephenson name and I would love to learn it. We may be cousins. I see that some of my flowers bio has been added by you to the proper area. I may have more Stephenson and Cooper info for you. Thanks, Nancy
