|I've enjoyed spending time in cemeteries since I was child. This site makes me happy to know that people are always remembering those that have come before us. I enjoy getting exercise and just generally being outdoors via walking the cemeteries. It's also great to help folks find their past through volunteer efforts. I often think of it as my good deed for the day. I generally have no connection to most of the postings I've created. My family are featured under my virtual cemeteries listings. My ancestors had the family names of Baker, Bauer, Creamer, Crisman, Edmond, Elgert, Everhart, Fandrei, Fisbeck, Gebhard, Hinzman, Jones, Kuhn, Kukuck, Millet, Riddle, Ridge, Roscrons, Schoen, Scott, Springer, Shoup, Streich, Von Gro, Wilde, Willert, Wolff. |
Please feel free to contact me if you have corrections, additions or would like a transfer. If you have a family connection, please feel free to contact me. If you are happy with my services as a volunteer, please leave flowers on one of my loved ones files in remembrance. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. September, 2016, or sooner, sounds great to me. I'll look forward to hearing what you find.

|RANDY PAINTER||Jennie Straily # 28696772|
Would you please transfer memorial # 28696772 of Jennie Straily to me. I'm doing the family genealogy and need to add information. Thanks.
According to the obituary posted on John Henry Burst's memorial he was preceded in death by his son Henry Nelson Burst on 7 Mar 1906.
You have entered two memorials for this person -
Henry Burst # 23697026 and
Nelson Burst # 23697017
Can these two be combined?

Thank you for making the addition on the other pages also. Yes, it is crazy. The son, Terence, was driving in the first accident as well. He survived obviously & the young girl did not. The pain that these families endured back then is just heart breaking to me.

I'm sorry to not be able to properly address you by your given name, but I couldn't find it.
You have kindly provided the listing for the subject person, who is my maternal g-grandfather. Thank you so much for that service.
I have pretty good information on he and his wife, Perthana Ellen Olin.
But it his father and mother that I am so desperate to find. John says he was born in Hagerstown, MD in Jan 1862. But I can't find a christening record that might contain the names of his parents in any of the surrounding churches in that area of Maryland. Also that was before they used birth certificates in Maryland, so that source is not available to me. On top of that, he as born at the beginning of the US Civil War very near a major area of conflict (Gettysburg, PA). So his beginnings are really hard to find. I can't find him in any census until age 38 in 1900. So, my request is this. Could you please help me to see if there are any records there at the cemetery office, or if there is an obituary for him associated with his internment there at Fairview Cemetery in Phillipsburg? Or any clue at all as to where I can find who his parents were?
I live outside the USA in Panama in Central America and so I am unale to visit the Fairview Cemetery myself.
I'm really hoping that I will hear back from you. I'll leave my email address here to make that easier.
Thanks so much for what you are doing to help us find our forebears.

|Leslie||Found Arthur Baker|
My husband and I were able to locate the grave for Arthur C Baker (1885-1964). In the cemetery registry they have him listed as Baker, A.C. He is the only Baker listed for this cemetery. If you find that this is not who you are looking for don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you and God Bless

Hi! I enjoyed reading your bio and have to say that I appreciate what you do! It has helped me many times in finding my ancestors! I have a question you may or may not be able to answer! I know you generally have no connection to the graves you add, but one of my ancestors had the marriage date to the right of the gravestone picture, but nothing like that was actually included on the gravestone. Can you tell me who puts that extra info on there? This is what it said:
Husband of Kathryn O'Loughlin McCarthy (Married 3/4/1933 in Hyacinth, KS). Buried beside wife in O'Loughlin family lot.
It was for a Daniel McCarthy in a cemetery in Hays, Kansas.
I'm sorry if you have no idea, and don't want you to bother replying! I'm new to all this! THANK YOU!

In reference to asking you to add Louis Manz as a sibling,to Nellie, I gave you the wrong # for Louis,
it should be 88637440.
