My wife got me interested in genealogy while she was doing research on her side of the family (Knapp, Warren, Peace,Carroll,Barnett, Boydstun(on) and French).
I also listed Fort Worth, Texas Police Officers killed in the line of duty. I knew the officers killed between 1973 to 2008 (18 total). The Fort Worth Police Department has had 54 Officers killed in the line of duty since 1892.
E-mail me with any additions, corrections or removal requests. I will be more than glad to add info, obits, bios or do corrections to any memorial.
I hope the people or information about them I have listed will help you in some way.
Cryer Creek Cemetery Pete,, I hope things are well for you and your family. We've exchanged emails on occasions but I wanted to thank you for all your contributions. I see your name on FindAGrave and we appreciate your time and effort. I'm currently President of the Cryer Creek Cemetery Assoc and wanted to invite you and others to our Annual meeting. The meeting is scheduled for May 22nd (3;00PM) at the Cemetery. By that time I hope to have most of the New Plot Survey complete. As you may or may not know, our plot survey was lost sometime ago. Starting over is a lot of WORK!!! Nonetheless, I'm happy to do it as I find it interesting and on occasions get to meet great people like yourself. If you can't make the meeting I completely understand but please spread the word as I would love to get more people involved and serve on our Board. Blessing to you and yours,

Edits Hi, Pete...I have added some edit suggestions on the PARK families in Dresden Cemetery, Navarro Countym TX. They are maternal ancestors of my husband. The names I worked on were Walter Park, James Kenneth Park and Johny R Park. I may have added Ella Park's parents also. I hope you can make the changes. Thank you.
RE: Maudie Getts Thank you, Pete, for taking and posting the photo of the gravestone for Maudie Getts. The addition I had requested was to add "in Greenville, TX" after "Colonial...Retirement Center" so it would be known where the Colonial... is. Bob
