Bio and Links
Bio Photo The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer).

I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.

A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park or Lakewood South, please include the section and plot number.

Simon Stein
Simon and Ameila Stein are my grandmother's grandparents. She always wanted to let her grandchildren loose to find their graves. Thank you so much for doing this

The Rev. George Weller
Hey, Natalie-
A cousin has pointed out that both you and I have posted the Rev. George Weller, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Vicksburg, MS and that your post was the first; I do not know how to transfer the later post to you, but it is more complete. It does not matter to me which of us handles the graves of my great-great-grandparents there. If you will instruct me, I shall do whatever you suggest. Having a duplicate is probably confusing to lots of people. Thank you, Gina Weller Webb

Orkus Freese family in NOLA
Hi Natalie,
I am working the Lafayette Cem 1 in NOLA and noticed you had photographed the Freese family plot. One person was missing because her name was on the back of the stone. I don't know if you were doing this for someone else or this is your family but thought if it was your family I should let you know. I have created a memorial and posted the photos if you are interested to memorial 134624248. If not your family please disregard.
Have a great day
Bushy

Thank you for connecting John Marley's parents to site. He died at Vicksburg during the Civil War. He was their oldest son. Thanks again Sara

George J & Ann E Bass Dicks
Hi, Natalie,
Thanks for making the memorials for many of the Dicks family and for including photographs for George and Ann. I got my info on them from Barber Family, a book on archive.org.

I would like to ask for your permission to use that photo (and others you may have taken of gravestones of my ancestors) in my family tree on ancestry.com. Because the photographer has a copyright for each photo, I always ask before using a photo on another web site. I will, of course, put your name as the photographer and the web sites of the memorials as the source.

Thank you for considering my request,
Jacki

Y. F. & Fannie Harvill
Natalie,
Many thanks for your kindness in making the transfers for Y. F. & Fannie Harvill. The promised bio info, links & obituary have now been added.
If you are interested, you might want to check out the link to their son, Halpert Harvell, who had such an interesting life; his obitury was so helpful in being able to link this family together. Your help is greatly appreciated! :)

RE: Ella Ullman
Natalie,

The key at the top of the web page to which I referred you indicates that the decedent’s birthplace is listed between his/ her occupation and his/ her place of death. In the entry for Ella S. Ullman, the phrase “Lexington, Miss.,” appears between her occupation, “housewife,” and her place of death (her residence in downtown Natchez).
