I am a local historian in Rapid City SD, I specialize in finding where people are buried, I have many readings of cemeteries in Western South Dakota I hope post them on this site. |
I have a vast number of cemetery readings and obituaries that I am putting on site, I also am a volunteer to look up obits for people, please contact me if you need help in the Rapid City area.
I don't go too far to do pictures, I don't go to Fall River County to do pictures too far away, some places in Pennington are too far away.
I consider my self a scribe of the cemeteries, they are waiting for family , friends or who ever knows about the person and can do a bio to take edit control of them from me.
Don't put obits up where pictures should be, ask me to transfer so you can do the memorial the right way, only so many pictures can go up and using an obit that way is wrong!
Please, please just send your number on edit to ask for transfer that is the only way I want to do it, it so much easier that way.
If anyone has memorials in South Dakota they can no longer manage, please consider transferring them to me, I would be glad to have them.

Eugene Dennis Rohlf did NOT die in France. He is listed in Minnesota Deaths & Burials, 1835-1990, familysearch.org, FHL film #2218074, with the same death date as shown on his tombstone, with father: Burt Rohlf, mother: Gertrude Wivill. I tried to email you, Ellen, but it bounced back.

say "THANK-YOU" for all of the transfers.
Hope you & yours have a great Memorial Day.

Would you please turn over the memorial for Glen Dewey to me to maintain? He was the infant son of my great great grandparents, who moved from Indiana to South Dakota, and then moved back less than 10 years later. His memorial # is 66048301 and my contributor # is 48458575.
Thank you very much!

Sorry, I thought I sent it via the edit function.

I know it is difficult to catch it up and it was hard to keep up with just what we were able to at the time. I have too much going on right now to be able to do much at all. I have my granddaughter now for 9 days while her mom is over in Ireland. I have a bunch of papers I need to get through for my lawyer, and I had a lot of calls for repairs on things while I was away on vacation. So I have a lot to do to catch up with everything too and then I can start looking at stuff on here again.

Thank you for the transfer of my Aunt Margaret. She was one of my favorite aunts growing up. She is the one that took the time to teach me how to crochet. I appreciate the transfer very much.

Thank you Ellen :)

The information you have must be incorrect. The Marie Antoinette you have is NOT a Klufa. Her maiden name is Paklin. Please fix so as not to confuse others. Thank you.

You are very welcome, and it does seem that way. Her husband and most of the rest of the Stoney family is unmarked, which unfortunately is also true for most of those buried in Riverside Cemetery.
Have a great day!
