| Bio and Links | I started my research in 1995, looking for Lockhart and Sams (my father's parents). Since then, I am now researching the names of Edgar, Radcliff, Markley, Sheppard, Somerville, Steed and Cheuvront (also on Father's side); Stacey, Pillar [Pilyer], Como, Aston and Hopper (Mother's family). During 2009, my husband showed interest in his ancestry so we are now researching the names of Stockdale, Leon (Leone) and Ankrom (Tyler Co).
During our research, the enjoyment of finding documentation that you never thought you would find and sharing it, is so satisfying and pleasing. Some of the expressions from my parents are priceless.
Memories are so very important to me! Those we can keep close and forever, are wonderful.
The memorials I have added have been made for memories and to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request.

I think I found a match too close to ignore.
I seen a grave for Sarah Jane Edgar. Did George have a father by the name of Thomas and a mother by the name of Sarah Edgar? Trhough my research on my grandfathers side of the family, Melvin Dawson, had a mother of Lillian Edgar and according to the marriage record Detroit Nov 18, 1910, Lillians parents were Thomas and Sarah Edgar. Lillian Married John Dauson (back then they messed up on the spellings of last names) as it should be John Dawson. John and Lillian had my grandfather Melvin who passed away in 1986. I am hoping for a miracle through genealogical research as I was adopted in the early 70's and for personal and medical reasons, need to find my biological family on my fahters side (The Dawsons which include the Edgar's)

CHAUNCEY - Rickey Eugene Bailey, 35, of Chauncey, Logan County, died Feb. 24, 1998, in Logan General Hospital after a long illness.
He was disabled.
Surviving: parents, Homer Jr. and Mary Mageline Bailey of Chauncey; brothers, Pete of Pine Creek, Timothy, Gary and Ethan, all of Omar; sisters, Trisha Spurlock of Omar, Pam Bailey of Rossmore; five nephews; three nieces; one great-nephew.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Collins-Slater Funeral Home, Switzer, with the Rev. Ray Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Chauncey Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
