I believe in credit where credit is due. Those sending information for memorials I manage are linked in the memorials. The helpful nature of Find A Grave volunteers is awesome!
For Union Cemetery: When there is conflicting information about the verified spelling of a name, I will use the spelling on the gravestone inscription. If there is no gravestone, I will use the spelling as shown in the cemetery records unless there is compelling evidence of a different spelling.
Please send all corrections and additions through the EDIT link in the upper right corner of each memorial rather than posting them to my profile page. This allows me to easily access the precise memorial so I can correctly add pertinent information. Thank you.
** My apologies for any delays in responding to any corrections, suggestions, or other inquiries. I have been very ill since September 2014 and unable to do anything on Find A Grave. I am now recuperating with slow but steady progress, so please hang in there with me. I will work a few hours each day to try to catch up but it will take a while. (11 Feb 2015)

Sorry to hear you been ill hope your recovering nicely by now. I don't know whether your the one researching the burials for Union Cemetery, Jackson, Missouri but her husband Lewis McQuaid died 10/25/1898 right after she did, my guess he was buried in here with her also. Lewis was born 9/6/1807 in Frederick County, Virginia. If you want to put him in there or see if he is in burial records or an obit that would be wonderful he is my ggreat grandmothers brother and just found him...
much appreciate any help

I went to the cemetery today to take photos of his and his wife's stone. They have stones but nothing is inscribed on them. So I'm going to add the photos anyway.
THANKS so much..

Do you by any chance have any more information on this family? I believe she is the missing Rosswag, from my ancestry. Thank you.

Helen died 12 Jun 1904 in Beloit, WI. Her husband, Carlos Whitford, died 26 Sep 1910 Cook Co, IL. Helen's brother in law, Edson Curtis, died 28 Nov 1875 Beloit, from typhoid fever. Edson's brother, Charles, also died 1875 from typhoid. From Edson's obit, it states he was a member of the Beloit Baptist Church (doesn't state which one) by I have the feeling that's where they're buried.
I have sent transfer requests to you. Please read my message sent via William Oburn's memorial for your consideration. Your work on their memorials is truly great--thank you! --HJ
