Bio Photo "The country newspaper is truly a family record. It proclaims your marriage, it announces the birth of your children, it gives the obituary notice of a loved one of your family. It not only gives your family record, but the family record of your neighbors. Many do not realize the benefit their home paper is to them."
The Newton County News August 14, 1890

My count is unbalanced because I maintain many memorials for several contributors that are no longer on Find a Grave.

All transfers will be done on an individual basis. Please state your relationship/or reason for requesting the transfer and be sure to include your member number.

LINKS OR TRANSFERS LEFT ON THE BOARD are very time consuming to search for those memorials and less accurate.

To insure accuracy. . .
PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB on the upper right side of the memorials, then choose the Suggest a Correction feature for transfers or to add information and links.

Jean-Luc Coubronne

I have put my additions and corrections for Frank VANDUKER (born in 1878) and John VANDUKER (born in 1853) thanks to your transfer for those 2 memorials.

I have also filled in the cases "suggest a correction" in "Edit" for Angelique DANIAUX VANDUKER (born in 1882) and Frank VANDUKER (born in 1856). Unfortunately, I cannot maintain the site for them. So, I ask you the tansfer for those 2 persons if you have no objections.

Thank you very much,

Best regards,

Jean-Luc Coubronne, France

Boz and Mattie Craig
I appreciate the transfer of the memorials for John Vernoy Craig and his wife Mattie. It was discovering a diary written by Mattie when she was a young school girl that started me on my journey to find out more about family. Thank you for taking such good care of them until I could get there!

RE: Mary Ann Whisler Hoover
Thank you for the transfer and for the additional information regarding her death. Mary Ann is not a close relative, but I was able to add the names of her children.

After a quick search of Park Cemetery, I see that you have done a great job on the memorial of her daughter, Henrietta. Much appreciated!

Best wishes.

I am fascinated by the strip of pattern at the bottom of his stone. I cant quite figure it out. I think I see leaves on each side of the swirls (?) in the middle. Do you think there is some significance other than being decorative? Sharon

Elmazia's foot stone
That is a beautiful photo! Was it that clean or did you do your gentle magic? Am I correct in the marker transcription.....NOT DEAD BUT SLEEPETH...? Or is it SLEEPING?
Thank you for all 3 of these. Sharon
