My husband (USAF retired) and I (US Army veteran) are now working our second careers...USPS for him and Retired for me. Some days are tougher for me because of my Multiple Sclerosis but my husband has been strong for me.|
Many thanks to those that have asked and allowed us to take pictures of their loved ones. If we are managing a memorial that you would like transferred to you ....just let us know! Memorials should be with loved ones whether they are related or not. All we ask, if transferred, is that you did not request the transfer just to trash the memorial. Now is not the time to vent an old enemy or maybe an ex.
Some photos are harder to read than others due to nature or decorations. We will not rearrange decorations if it is not a request for a headstone. If it is a request, we will try to get a clear shot and then replace the decorations where they were.
We will walk the cemeteries that others won't. Some memorials are hard to find but we will try AND hopefully succeed.
Our pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. You are more than welcome to use the photos we take and we are honored. We take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for our ego or for the "numbers."
No one should EVER be forgotten. What goes around comes around.
Live, love, laugh. Tomorrow may not be there for you but today is!

Thank you for the great photo of the grave marker of Capt Sam William McAllister. Your work for Find A Grave is appreciated.

Will you'll be doing anything in Oct. for Find A Grave? I was hoping to get with a few people and do a cemetery in Pilgrim.
Thank you so much. Would y'all know if this cemetery still does burials?? His grave looks to be in good shape but very secluded. So I'm assuming as well his wife is still alive since her information hasn't been put on marker.

|Sue Thompson Patterson||Ruth Jordan Stevens|
Bill and Denise, Did I thank you for taking the pictures of Ruth Stevens? If not, I simply over-looked doing it. I do so appreciate your time and energy to get it done. The pictures are great. Thanks, again.

Clarice husband, Carlton is buried in Houston, Texas, Memorial # 71881090. Clarice died after her husban but her family chose to bury her close th them as opposed to being buried next to her husband. Carlton and Clarice were friends with my wife's parents. They were always called Auntie and Uncle Dan.
