In November 2001, I posted a message on Find-A-Grave, specifying my grave location in the Old Mission Mausoleum, where I had purchased space. In that message, I expressed my fascination with the mausoleum's history and its builder, "George Saxton" who dedicated 36 years to the project.

In May 2009, I received the exciting news that my application to have the Old Mission Mausoleum recognized on the National Register of Historic Places had been approved by the United States Department of the Interior.

Reflecting on my life in May 2017, I may not have left a significant impact on the world, but I've led a fulfilling life. With 56 years of marriage, two sons, and one grandson, I dedicated my career to teaching and administration in the Wichita Public School system. Now in retirement, I find joy in traveling.
