I've had plenty of help from people who have photographed my ancestors' graves In the Texas, Missouri, Louisiana areas so I'm always happy to photograph graves for those who need them on the Olympic peninsula of Washington state. I research the Peacock, Mayo, Dotson, Livingston, Kent, Nixdorff, Rice, Gross families, among others.

RE: PJ Nixdorff photo, plus...
Coleen, I don't know of any Walter Givens around that age, but I'm not sure. Almost all of my Givens relatives came from north FL or southern AL. Virtually all of them stayed there, too.

I would be happy to transfer Nixdorff over to you, since you are related. Would you like to manage that memorial?

RE: Peter Vanderperren
Maybe for jobs. The two boys who went to Washington worked as loggers. The father was a farmer and two older brothers were probably in line to get that farm. Another brother and two sisters went to California.
I am always amazed at how adventurous those people were. They probably went by train.

Peter Vanderperren
Thanks for the photo of Peter Vanderperren's tombstone. Thanks for the trouble of trying to read this. Kind of interesting because his brother Desire'(Ray) is buried at Enumclaw Evergreen Cemetery in King Co., WA with a similar stone. Ray's is a pinkish color, though.
These men are my grandmother's brothers. I don't think my mother knew them because they left for Washington from Green Bay,WI as young men. I wonder what took them all the way to Washington.

Your welcome. While I was there I found Ernest Spaugh and took a picture. I will add the picture if you request it. Use the "Request A Photo" tab on the memorial and let me know.

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit the gravesite of the Carusis. I didn't realize it was unmarked, but am glad to see at least a photo of their final resting place. Thank You again for your time and dedication.
