I live in Arizona and have been interested in genealogy and family history for many years. I have been using Find A Grave for quite while and found it especially helpful on a research trip I took to Michigan in April 2008. That trip really got me thinking - and knowing that all my tombstone pictures will get tossed after I die - I decided to start participating!|
I am contributing in hopes of helping others who may be searching for names in their family tree. If you have additional information or corrections - please contact me. If I have made a memorial for your direct relative and you'd like it transfered to you, just ask.

Thank you for the quick response in adding the info to the memorials of John and Rebecca. We appreciate it.
Yes the links are perfect. His mother remarried after dad died & no mention of Morris in her memorial, but it is correct. Thank you, gt
Thank you very much for the fast transfer. I will be working onthe Schulls for a while and try to add to the memorial as much as possible.

Hi Denise - Thanks for the message about Parley's birth place. I think the stone is actually indicating his place of death, though. I looked again at his hand written death record, which appears to say either "Milton Conn" or "Milton Corn(ers)" But in the photo, there's a word that looks like "in" engraved in the middle of the figure that looks like a chess piece just above "Milton VT". I also found an ad in the Burlington (Vermont) Free Press of March 18 1853, where "the farm lately occupied by Parley Starr, late of Milton" is up for sale by EC Starr. I updated the memorial to list Milton as his place of death and noted the confusion over his death record as well. Still working on his birth info - at least 3 people named Parley Starr lived in Vermont at the same time, so it's a challenge to get it right. Your photos have helped a lot toward that goal! -Deb

You're welcome. I created memorial pages for her son Monroe and D-I-L, since they were there also. If you would like them, I will transfer them to you. Bob
