Bio Photo I am a wife and mother of 4 with very little free time. The free time I do have is almost always spent doing my genealogy research. I started my family tree as a high school project, it just grew from there.
I only recently started visiting and photographing the cemeteries in my area when I found out that my husbands ancestors were so plentiful here. My husband is my driver when I visit the cemeteries (he says I make him go, but he enjoys it too) . And now my youngest daughters, twins age 13, have started helping as well.
My ancestors are mainly from Europe and Canada, but my husband's line will keep me visiting the cemeteries here in Northern New Jersey for years to come !!

I would love to help anyone with ancestors in the area (Bergen & Passaic County, New Jersey) as much as I possibly can...just let me know

Fair lawn Bergen Co., NJ cemetery
thank you for posting a picture of my grandmother Isabella and grandfather John Muir and their two children (my Aunts) Isabella B. Muir and Jean Elizabeth Muir.
I haven't been there since my Grandmother passed, and it was a shock to see/find the stone on Find A Grave.
My mother Nancy was buried in NY in 1974.

Thank You again,
Nancy Palmer Simmers

Henry Fitch
I have a list of the graves at Hume village cemetery from 1950. The date listed for the death of Henry N. Fitch is 1891, not 1897. The photo of the gravestone also looks like 1891.

Elizabeth was the sister of my ancestor Ruth Denison Corson Lundy. I would love to find information of the parents of Ruth & Elizabeth. The were John Denison and Rachel Vanderbeck. Do you have any further data? My email is

Ruth & Daniel Corson were my GGGrandparents.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and posting my dad's headstone and information on Findagrave.

I am requesting that you transfer the management to me as I have some things I would like to add.

Freeman/DeRosa grave
Thank you so much for photographing the grave of my parents and grandparents. They actually lived in Nutley in Essex County. I am trying to locate the graves of my g.g. grandparents, Owen (d. after 1880) and Margaret (d. 1913) Nugent of Nutley (then called Belleville and then Franklin) and also of g. grandfather Francis J. Britton who died in 1948 and had lived in Nutley until at least 1946. If you have any advice, please let me know. Thank you again.

I think she is my paternal Grandmother, who immigrated from Austria. She was married to Frederick William and they lived in Paterson, NJ. Is this the information you have?

Permission to use your photos
Thanks for all your hard work. I am slowly tracking my family through the NJ cemeteries and would like your permission to attach your grave stone photos to my records. I will of course put your name in the source.
