Richard I'm confused. You've posted a photo of the graves of Adolph and Lena Polenske, in Norfolk Neb., but added a middle name Emil for Adolph. Also a great family photo. However the dates on the tomb don't correlate with the 1900 Census, which has Emil born in 1869 and Lena in 1870. Further, the 1940 census has Clara Redman, his daughter, living with him in Hastings, NE, he's 72 and widowed. I'm fairly sure that's not his tomb, but is the picture for the family of the couple in the tomb, or the Polenskes in Hastings?
