I am a direct decendent of William Capling and Barbara (Wildfong) Capling who immigrated to Canada and then the United States from England in the mid 1800's. Recent (August 2010) DNA tests on my paternal line confirm the Caplin's British Isles ancestry and English ethnicity (for the pragmatism). Mom's side of the Family (Coughlin, Evans, McCormick) provides the Irish (the passion). . .a potent combination! I am the last of James Capling (1846-1914) and Laura Platt's line. I am looking for any information on James Capling and his activities during his last years in Wolverine, Michigan during the time period of aprox. 1895 - 1900. Please contact me if you have any information or questions. My wife Nadene (Berryhill) and I currently live in the Seattle, Washington area as of 2013. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and avid family history nuts. I would like to hear from Yeager Family decendents. I also decend from the Sutliffs of Michigan on my Father's side and from the Corys (of Salem Witchcraft fame) and Sauvains on my Mother's side. I Would also like to hear from members of these families as well. I am also looking for decendents of Henry and Matilda (Wildfong) Caplin of Detroit, Michigan, and/or decendents of their three Children Arthur Charles, Frederick Aaron and Irene Caplin. I was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1949. Thank you.|

You are welcome Larry.
|Jennifer Taylor Nichols||Dale's memorial transfers|
Just a note to let you know that the volunteers I enlisted have been wonderful in fostering Dale's memorials. There have been a couple of transfers I made in error or in the belief the recipient was directly connected due to linked memorials. I am shocked to tell you that I have received some of the rudest and insensitive emails ever written. It belies every sense of decency in the spirit of volunteerism for someone to react so viciously because of a simple error - easily remedied by the return transfer of the memorials. I apologize if any of this unpleasantness has bypassed me and fallen on your shoulders. (I'm still likely to make a few mistakes but I'm doing the best that I can). Take care.

OK Larry, memorial has been transferred to you. Have not done this before & was skeptical. It went well.
Forgot to mention that I will flower UR Brother Dale's memorial and family members. It has been pleasant talking to you. It will be quite a task to get the memorials Dale created, transferred to other members, but nice that someone is thoughtful enough to assist you.
|purple-lady||RE: Merril Farber - 29140497|
Thanks for your prompt reply and explanation. How do I transfer it back to you?
|purple-lady||* Merrill Farber - 29140497 *|
Stopping by to discuss a transfer, but first please accept my condolences for the loss of UR Brother Dale. Although I do not know Dale & have not had any contact with him, I noticed that he contributed greatly to Find A Grave.
The above memorial was created by Dale and [somehow?] was transferred to me on April 17, 2015 for management. I am wondering why the memorial he created was given to me? I do not know Mr. Farber and/or know anyone in New Jersey/Arizona, where he lived & passed away. When I placed the first 2 tokens on his memorial I had only been a member for a short period of time. I also, do not know Mr. Farber's wife "Betty", who was mentioned in the bio.
I'm sure "Betty" [his wife] would be more inclined to manage his memorial, than I. I am very reluctant to take over "Merrill Farber's memorial since I have no connection to him or his family what-so-ever. There are probably other members more suitable for this task.
Would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
Altho I never met Dale face-to-face, I knew him via Find a Grave. Needless to say, I was stunned this AM when I read about his passing. Thank you to you and Dale for your Find a Grave efforts.
As long as you have memories of Dale, he will not be truly gone nor forgotten.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your brother. His contributions to Find A Grave were immeasurable. I regret the delay in the offering of my condolences. May he rest in peace.

Thank you Larry and thanks for the quick reply. Following the Price/Jersey family in MI has been quite an undertaking. How cool that you knew the Hartungs. Thanks for helping me locate them and for all your hard work. Laura W
