Bio Photo I was a volunteer for the Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness Website for Oklahoma City cemeteries hosted by I was blessed with all that volunteers from that site helped me with.

I love genealogy and my dream job would be to work with in documention preservaton.

In March 2013 I helped host a Felts Family Reunion in Americus, Georgia. It was for the descendants of George G. Felts and Cinthia Lucretia Blackshear.

On 20 October 2013, several cousins - Shawn Pearson, Dana Pearson, Carlton Kite and his fraternity brothers, Alan Anderson (Sumter County, Georgia historian) and myself located and helped clean the Blackshear Family Cemetery that had not been cleaned in probably 3 to 4 decades.

Renee, I didn't post either of the pictures now on his memorial, so I can't remove them. I have no control over the photos added. You can post the one you have in addition to the others. I think then it would be the top picture on the page.

Nicholas and Arrena Beck
Thanks so much for providing the photo of Nicholas and Arrena (Brown) Beck's headstone. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! I have sent an edit to the creator of the memorial asking her to correct the spelling of Arrena's name---hopefully she will accept the edit.

Again, Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for providing these photos of my great-grandparents & little great granduncle! I had been waiting for so long for them, I'd decided that they were unmarked. That cemetery is several hundred miles from me, & due to illnesses and deaths in my family, I've been unable to make the trip there to see for myself. Now their memorial is complete. I really appreciate your efforts.

Thanks again,
Leslie Tucker

Sorry, no, I do not have any more information on this memorial. I was just up there taking pictures.

Elbert O. Ansley
Hello Renee,
Could you please add the following to your listing for Elbert O. Ansley please?
He died in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia of Gastroenteritis after being a prisoner of War. He was captured in Savannah on Dec. 21, 1864 and died in the hospital there May 10, 1865. His body is supposedly interred in Laurel Grove Cemetery Savannah in the Confederate section lot #1465, Grave #2. This is documented in copies of his civil war file.
Elbert was my first cousin (several times removed). Thanks.

Bear Creek
Renee,You're welcome.Thank you for pictures of William Cox,John Archer and Calvin Woodcock.I thought we took pictures of all the markers.Do you have family in this cemetery? The one for William Cox is very pretty and such good condition. Is this the Cox in the names Cox-Burns.My GGfather was Nicholas Burns.I think it probable his first wife Matilda Puckett Burns is in Bear Creek.I think her grave is unmarked unless you got a picture of it also.It is not listed.Thank you again.
