My heritage stems mostly from the Ohio/Hardin/Logan/Muhlenberg Co. KY area and the Warrick/Boonville/Newburgh area of IN.|
Our family came to the U.S. from England and settled in the areas of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and North/South Carolina. When the original 21 families came to settle in Ohio County, this brought some of our ancestors from the east.
I am interested in finding family members from my husband's heritage including James/Long/Johnson/Rogers/Crittenden/Templeton/
Thompson. They are primarily from the Ohio/Logan/Muhlenberg area of KY.
I am interested in finding family members from my Dad's side including Addington/Purdue/Thompson/Work/Swab/Coffee/
Pigman/Severs/Kimbley/Williams/Dickerson/Hudson. They settled mainly in Ohio Co. KY and the Warrick Co area of IN.
I am interested in finding family members from my mother's side including Nacke/Richardson/Noe/Wooldridge/Nichols/Martin/
Matthews. The Nacke family is from Ehrson Germany along the Rhine River. This ancestry is well documented and fairly complete. The members of the other clans are mainly from Hardin/Grayson/Ohio counties.
I am currently trying to add photos and memorials of family members. I am asking anyone who wants to use my photos to get my permission first please. FYI from Find-A-Grave..."The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."
Thank you to all the generous folks who have posted memorials, photos, and taken photos for me.

|Joan Martindale Roth||RE:Clarence Ernest Johnson|
Hi Diane, I have corrected Clarence's month of birth to September. I used his place of death from SSDI and have changed it to New Milford,Litchfield, Connecticut according to Connecticut death records. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I am wiling to share, but do not think I know much more about the Johnson family. I am distantly related to the Culton family.

The info on the memorial is all that I have on him. Sorry.

You are very welcome. I will be thinking of you and praying your vision is fully restored. When you recover from all of your "repairs", we will need to plan another outing. Talk to you soon, D. L.

Diane, you are welcome! I am glad when I can help someone out by providing a picture of a loved ones grave. That is why I am out there wandering cemeteries. Thanks for your kind words.

Thank you so much for bringing the differences in birth depending on which calender was used to my attention. I have edited her memorial to accommodate the new information. Thanks again!

I left the following message at Heaven Hill Distilleries Bourbon Heritage Center on Facebook:
Looking for the photo of Old William in connection with the founding of this distillery. For proof to doubting kin.
Did you know the name will change to Havenhill in about two generations from William? My mother's maiden name was Havenhill.
The youngest son of immigrant parents, William's father was born Ulrich Himmelberger. He changed his name to Oliver Heavenhill as an adult, when he moved from Pennsylvania to present-day Nelson County, Kentucky, still part of Virginia at the time.
