Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am interested in the family history of my family & my husband's family.(I am originally from Adams,MN & he is from Hayfield, MN) We now live in New Ulm. Some family names are Hemingway, Lee, Hagen, Peterson,Aarhus, Gordon, Huseby,Torgerson,Lewison, Anderson, Johnson, Share

I first became interested in family history when I took a women's study class entitled "Our Foremothers". One assignment was to do an oral history with an older relative. Hearing the stories that my mom, my grandma & my husband's grandma had to share was priceless. The past became alive and names & dates became real people. I think my quest is bringing these stories and people to the younger generations that we will not lose this connection...and that our foremothers and forefathers will not be forgotten.

RE: Earl didn't request a transfer . I noticed that you had added the picture to his memorial & thought that perhaps you knew him or of him.I added his memorial as I was "cruising" across the USA & came upon his death notice...

I've made the changes and I see that she is your cousin. Would you like me to transfer her to you? I would be happy to do so.

Blessings ~ Solange

Resurrection Request

I saw that you have a request for photos from Resurrection Cemetery in Madison. The cemetery is quite big, but I would be glad to look up and photograph them for you if you can call the office and get burial locations for your request. The ladies who work at the office are very nice and are able to look things up without a problem or fee. The number to reach them at is, (608) 238-5561

RE: Fielding Redding

Fielding Redding is my wifes ggg granpa, I have done some research on him and the family over the years.

I had a note from someone years ago that said he was supposed to be buried there but he may be at another cemetery in the same county.
I will check the file for the note and see, but I do know when I tried to send another letter to her she had passed, that was before the computers come onto to play.

So may I ask how you are related to him???
