|I am a historian, author, and photograph historian. In 2007, I self-published "Dakota Uprising Victims: Gravestones & Stories." It deals with the gravestones or markers of the victims of the Dakota Indian Uprising of 1862 in Minnesota. A narrative accompanies each photograph of the gravestone. I am continuing to work on the subject of the Dakota Uprising.|

|CZabel||Charles Tyler memorial|
My GGrandmother was Charles Tyler's sister, Harriet Evelyn Tyler. I would like to connect Charles' memorial to his mother, Pauline Cottrell (Bentley) Tyler #86767847 and his father, Mose Tyler #86766755. Or, if you would transfer the management of Charles' site to me, that would be great and I will take care of it. Thank you, Cathy

|MarillaW||Thanks for your Dakota War books.|
I just discovered these books at the Brown Co Hist Soc yesterday and checked out two at the library. Fantastic work!!!
I am working with someone who is trying to create a virtual cemetery here on Find A Grave of all casualties, participants and even some descendants of the Dakota Wars. He project is ambitious, mine more limited. She is out of state so I am doing leg work here for her, specifically photography. Yours are quite impressive and will save me many miles of travel. I live in Windom so can go in just about any direction to sites and graveyards with relevance.
I have also agreed to do completely the Iberia Cemetery in Stark Twp, Brown County which their librarian assures me has many graves from this time. She has given me a copy of their reading which I will submit as a spreadsheet, then photograph.
If there is anything I can do to assist you, I would be glad to do so.

|Mert Rima||Oak Ridge Cemetery|
I see you put up a memorial in Oak Ridge Cemetry in Brown County MN. I am curious if you had access to burial records for that cemetery. If you did I would be very greatfull for any information regarding their location or how I might gain access to them. I feel certain My GFather is burried there but cannot verify it as there was no marker installed and we wish to erect one.
|S Hemingway||New Ulm Cemetery entries|
I was so delighted to see your historical naratives & photos on your New Ulm Cemetery memorials. New Ulm is so rich in history & our most interesting cemetery is begging to have more entries on Findagrave! You are so qualified to "tell the story" of many of the New Ulm settlers.
I have entered just a few of the New Ulm settlers on Findagrave & if you have info or pictures to add, please feel free to do so. Or if it would be simpler to transfer the memorial to you I could do that.
Thanks for the information you have entered on Findagrave.
