I just asked you a dumb question. You've answered it clearly in your bio. We live in Winchester - west and north of Leavenworth. I am doing research on some pioneers from England, New England, Ohio and Illinois; who came to the Kansas Territory in 1858 and established the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Pardee; later Nortonville; most had farms in Atchison County.
|Jean Jorgensen||RE: Charlotte (Patterson) Davis [Memorial #85613366]|
What part of Kansas are you a native of? We used to live in far west and south Kansas until 2004, then moved to far east and north.
|Jean Jorgensen||Charlotte Davis|
Thank you for the obituary for Charlotte Davis. I have added it to her memorial (#85613366). Also, I found the gravesite for her daughter, Helen, so have linked Helen to Charlotte and Charles.
I was interested in Charlotte's maiden name of Patterson and her family. I knew BP and Susie (Maxson) Patterson and their son, Malcolm, and his daughter, Nancy Jo. Their daughter, Thelma, married my mother's cousin, Keith Davis.
Are you related?
|Deb McCallister||Lester Hyten|
I got the date of the marriage off of his headstone, which shows 1953. Wouldn't Mary have given them that info.? Please check (with her?). Thanks.
Edits accepted. Willing to transfer any Chapmans or other ancestors to your care. Just send a note!

Dean, I checked my Find A Grave edits before I checked my email, so I didn't see your message until after my message to you.
Thank you for the obit & yes, I will add it to his memorial. Since there seems to be a mystery as to his first name, I think that I will leave it as J. Even obits have been known to have erroneous info.
Again, thank you for J.B.'s obit. I appreciate you taking the time in typing & sending it to me. Sara

Dean, thank you for the edits for J.B., #143409487.
May I ask where you found your info? There are 2 profiles on "Ancestry" where his first name is listed as Jeoffrey. If you have his obit, I would be most happy to add it to his memorial.
|Connie Chrisman Hatch||Cecil Madison Chapman|
Thank you very much for Cecil's obituary. I have added it to his memorial. His death certificate says he was married to "Ila", but no marriage can be found. I noticed that she was not mentioned in his obituary. Another mystery to solve!
