Thank you for all that you have done for my great uncles memorial. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I have added the information into my own tree thanks to your hard work, I found out some new things about my family i didn't know. Take care and God Bless.
|Lea Roberts||RE: Mary E Gaskins Maynard|
Gary, James was born in Overton Co., TN in/abt 1864, and I believe that Mary E. Gaskins was born in 1869, on/near Jamestown KY. They lived in and around that area most of their married lives, raised their children there, and also must have died there???I do know that my grandmother Myrtie L Maynard lived there until married, and then for a bit after that. She must have left her two eldest living with her parents, because it shows my bio father Elmer Hamblin living there in Russell Co., KY at the age of 17, and his sister Sada living there as well. I believe that she and her husband Joseph Hamblin migrated up to Cincinatti, made a home for the others she had and eventually Sada and Elmer moved to Cincinatti. I have been looking for James and Mary E Gaskins for over 6 years, their death, and where they are buried. I am weary. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated

|Lea Roberts||Mary E Gaskins Maynard|
I am looking for anyone who can tell me if my ggrandmother or ggrandfather; Mary E Gaskin, James Micajah Maynard is buried in the Bernard Cemetery. I have found their sons, and grandsons buried there. Wayne Thomas Maynard, Ores Maynard etc. I am so stumped because I can find no death cert. nor a gravesite for my ggrandparents. I never knew this side of my family. Is there anyone out there who knows of this family. My maternal grandmother was named Myrtle L Maynard, married Joseph Hamblin, and they are buried in Cincinatti, OH. Unfortunately, I never knew them either.
Any help would be so appreciated. I called Jamestown, Ky, and was told that they have no historical society.

I don't have a baptismal record, so my date could be erroneous. If you can click and send me whatever the newspaper article source was, it might have additional information that would be helpful to my trying to resolve it.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.

Sorry to bother you in this public manner with a communication which is probably better handled one-on-one, but I find no means for just emailing you directly.
Your subject memorial for Mr. Priest is welcome and appreciated. You seem to have life facts of great detail. Can I ask you, however, to check what Cave Hill or some other source gave you for the date of birth? His death notice seems pretty sure that he was in his 70th year, which is what my records show. Given than Peter and Lucy did not marry until 1815, the 1820 birth of this son seems more likely than 1810.
Thank you for whatever amplification you can provide.

Hi Gary, I received your note regarding the above Find A Grave memorials. I went back and double checked the way they were listed and here's what I found:
HECKMAN ERNIE 1/12/1933-5/23/1999
I noticed the obituary for Gin they had a son Mark who is also in the same cemetery. I will link them all together and put her birth name on the memorial along with her nickname.
Thanks for your note!
