Started researching our family roots about 1990. researching the names ROBERTSON, WAGGONER, DECKARD, SEXTON, HAMMOND, ALEXANDER, BROWN, SWANGO, GIBSON, COWLES, TAYLOR, VANCE, AND GRAMLIN. Have just recently started taking digital cemetery pictures of stones to add to our family tree collection. |
I decided to start contributing these pictures on line to share with other's in search of these Ancestors.
These bios and pictures may not be published for sale or sumitted to websites that charge a subscription.

DO NOT USE BLEACH TO CLEAN WHITE MILITARY STONES AS IT WILL TURN THEM YELLOW AND THE DAMAGE CANNOT BE UNDONE.

Buried Hickory Grove Cemetery per Clark Co., Indiana Death Record Book H-32, page 98
mourn 8 August 1844, Indiana
died 21 October 1918, Carr Twp., Clark County, Indiana
Son of Abraham and
Hannah (Dow) Warman
Husband of Louisa
I understand that the tombstone says 1919 as the year of death, however the death certificate itself says 1918.
Hope this is helpful.

If you can send the Find a grave # next time It would be great, and more easy than chasing the memorial down.

There were 2 Bond brothers in Shelbyville, one married Virginia Gibbs, and the other married Elizabeth Trumbo. Do you know anything about this?

Thank you so much for adding my mother's grave to the registry. I am also trying to find the grave of a sibling that was born before me somewhere after 1968 and before I was born in 1973. My brother Clifton R. Dugard Jr, born in 1968 is still alive but my mother mentioned another child that was a really late miscarriage and mentioned visiting the baby's marker. I think it had lambs on it. Not sure how to go about looking for it and I would assume it would be in Walnut Ridge. Thank you again and God Bless.
