|Robert Braselton||Hall Cemetery|
I have contacted the Find A Grave folks to see if they can combine the three names into one cemetery. (Hall cemetery, Madison D Hall cemetery and the Dykes Springs cemetery). We will see what happens.
|Robert Braselton||John and Anna Nations Mouser|
There are some headstone photos for John Daniel and Anna Nations Mouser posted to find a grave but they are listed in both, Oakgrove Cemetery and the Madison D Hall Cemetery. Do you know for sure which cemetery they are buried in? Another contributor has information that they are buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hempstead county and not the Madison D Hall Cemetery. Please clarify.
|Robert Braselton||Hall Cemetery and Madison D Hall cemetery|
Sam, There are duplicate memorials for some of my Mouser kinfolk that are listed in both the Hall Cemetery and the Madison D Hall cemetery. I believe the two cemeteries are one and the same. Is there a way to combine the memorials of the two cemeteries in order to keep down the confusion when trying to link other family members? We may need to send a note to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org in order to do this.
|Patsy Conquest||Emmer Elmore Harless|
Mr. Sproles, Emmer Harless was my great grandmother. Are you a relative of mine? Would love to share family tree information with you if you have any to share. My father was Elbert Odell Wright, his mother was Lou Ada Harless Wright. Lou Ada was one of Emmer's children. Thank you for all you do on findagrave! My email is: email@example.com
|Roan McClure||Parents of William Mosby Eastland|
The father of William Mosby Eastland (WME) was Thomas Eastland - not Thomas B. Eastland. The brother of WME was Thomas B(utler) Eastland, who emigrated from TN to CA in 1863. Alfred Taylor Eastland, youngest son of Thomas B. Eastland, used to tell his grandson, Donald McClure, about his (Alfred's) uncle who was killed in the Meir Expedition. Donald McClure was my grandfather and passed this information on to me.
Can you correct that info on the Memorial for William Mosby Eastland?
The info on his mother, Nancy Mosby, is correct.
|Ed Rhodes||Horton Cemetery|
Sam, I made the trip to Horton Cemetery last week and only found 7-8 headstones and most of them are Sheffields. I've added the pictures I took to each of the people, except for Alexander Horton himself since someone had already put one up. Where did you get the listings for all the graves in Horton Cemetery you've added?
|Ed Rhodes||Horton Cemetery, San Augustine, Texas|
Sam, I have run into several postings you've done pertaining to the Alexander Horton family and the Horton Family Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas. I was curious if this was part of your family and secondly, if you had been to this cemetery? My step-father was a descendant of this Horton line and have started adding them to my Ancestry.com tree. I like to add in pictures of headstones when possible to people in my tree, and was curious that since you haven't added many to your Find A Grave pages have you been to the cemetery and if so are there headstones on any more of the graves? If you haven't been there and don't know if there are more marked Horton graves then I can make a daytrip and check for myself. I live a couple of hours away. Let me know.
|Betty Monro||Kitty Love Sproles Thompson|
Mr. Sproles: I am just starting some research on Kitty and W.H. Thompson, and my grandmother Bessie Thompson Peets. I just learned I was named after Kitty and saw your posting. Thanks!
|Lea Stoneburner||William Chesney|
Re: William Chesney in Sproles Cemetery in Holmes County. He is my great-great grandfather and I'm wondering how he ended up in the Sproles cemetery. I can't find anything in census records that link him to Holmes County. I appreciate any help you can give.
|C. Smith||G.R.Sporles and Margaret Pridemore|
Could you please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you know what the G. stands for and where Margaret is buried. The Pridemore's are my side of the family.
Thank you so much for your work.
