Burial locations on Drouin burial records on Ancestry are not always correct. Newer users of Ancestry may not be aware that the burial location was not always on the record. While it may be, but is not always, correct for catholic records, where it says in the text of the entry, that the deceased was "buried in the cemetery of this parish", for non-catholic burials it is often incorrect and simply based on the location of the church.

If any Find A Grave contributor would like some help locating a cemetery or grave in Quebec, please contact me and I would be happy to see if I can help.

Please don't contact me, to tell me about a duplicate, AFTER you have moved a memorial to a cemetery where I have FOUND the grave. It's a DUPLICATE if yours is in the correct cemetery and I add another.
This is Find A Grave, not guess a grave, or plop a grave...or add as many unknown burials as you want and then wait for someone else to find the grave.
And of course, if I add a new cemetery 'today' and then a memorial appears with a created date from two months ago, well that's just good for a chuckle or two.
So, contact me BEFORE you move the memorial, and let me know the circumstances.
