Please read before sending corrections:|
I'd very much prefer to transfer a memorial to someone who is researching the person listed than make corrections. Even if you are only distantly related or not related at all. If you know more, you are a better person to manage it than I am. The exceptions are for my relatives and in-laws; please contact me if you are also related and we can figure out who would be better to manage.
If you really don't want to manage them, please tell me the source of the information you'd like me to add. But please, consider just taking over the memorial.
Please use the Suggest A Correction feature to request transfers or corrections.
Feel free to use my photos under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. That means you can use them without asking me so long as you credit me, you don't sell them, and if you make something based off my photos, you must also let people use *that* on these terms. If you do not include attribution when you use or repost my photos, I will send a take-down notice. I don't ask for much. Please just include it so I don't have to be a bad guy.
All my photos are also available on Flickr in higher resolution, as Find a Grave limits photo sizes.

Me again. I see you already started one for my uncle Ben K. Feist Memorial# 114241419. So I would like to request that one as well. And I found my grandparents also. Kasper B. Feist Memorial# 114242202 and Eva Feist Memorial# 114242205. I might be requesting more since I have many relatives in that cemetery. I have a lot of information/photos that I would like to add to them.

Hi Phillip. I would like to ask if you can transfer a memorial for my Aunt Mary Feist Memorial# 114241419. I am going to start one for her husband, my Uncle Ben Feist. And may I use your photo of the grave stone? Also, would it ok to use the photo of the cemetary?
|Terry Foenander||Swepson Whitehead Brooks.|
I have the following data on Swepson W. Brooks, from his compiled military service file:
Swepson W. Brooks (first name also shown as Suchson), pre-war occupation as a farmer; mustered in at Kempsville, Virginia, May 13, 1861, at the age of 36, and served as private, company F, 6th Virginia Infantry; transferred to the Confederate States Navy, April 28, 1862, by order of the Secretary of War, and ordered to report to Confederate Navy officer, W.A. Graves, at Norfolk. [Compiled Military Service Records.]
Hope it helps.

Thank you for the photo of their gravestone. I was thrilled to see their pictures on the gravestone! Until this photo I had never seen their pictures. The individual pictures on the gravestone are the only photos I have of my gggrandparents. I tried to enlarge their pictures from your photo, but it gets very blurry. Would you be willing (when the snow melts and it's warmer)to take a close up photo of each individual picture on the gravestone and send them to me?
Thank you so much,

Any time. :)
|SJ Rader||RE: George Braun again|
That is George F, aka George Jr. He was only abt 25. That is why there is no Elizabeth probably. The George M Braun that I am looking for lived 1823-1893, and his wife's name was Elizabeth. They are supposed to be in the Cassville Cemetery area also. Thanks!
