If you find a snapshot you need just drop me an email. I have many photos of the same stones and I am glad to assist. The photos may only be used for your own family history records and not for profit. If you copy a photo be sure you add a footnote stating that all photos are the Copyright of Lost Roots Found Branches (1990-2015). Treestump Lady is only my user name for Find a Grave. Be sure to let me know how you used the photos and where as I keep a record. This also includes the photos of cemetery gates located on this web site. |
Genealogy is a passion. Walking and photographing of cemeteries has been an enjoyment for many years. I stop at any cemetery any where to photograph and have many, many to share.
Cemeteries are simply our family members who are gone but not forgotten. They have just gone home.
I'm descended from a long line of Stone Cutters and find beauty in the art displayed in all cemeteries.

|Charlie Bolton||RE: Steele|
Hi,"Lady". I would love to share info on the Steele family. Actually that part of my tree is one of my brick walls. I am tied to Edmond through his granddaughter, Matilda Steele. Known as "Tilda", she was the first wife of Cornelius Bolton. Their grandson was my grandfather, Charles "Charlie" Hayes Bolton.
Cornelius was buried just across the Rockcastle River in Mt. Victory, Pulaski County. I don't know where Tilda was buried. Do you know?
I would like to visit Edmond and Rebecca's gravesite. Old Steele cemetery, correct?
I remember Grandpa Bolton bragging about his Steele relation who was maybe law enforcement of some sort in Laurel County.
Greetings, I transferred her to you. Stay warm. Jan

Just wanted to let you know that we added the entrance photo of Elliston Cemetery in our personal tree and a footnote was added as requested. Thank you for allowing us to use the photo. It is a great addition to our tree.

I had sent a small death notice and saw the last line had been left off. Please add--pioneers of this section--to the end to complete the death notice. Thank you. Cara

Thanks for taking the time to send me the update. Much appreciated.
|Mark's Mom||Haynes Family|
That would be great, I'd love to see them, my email is email@example.com. I welcome any pictures you might have. Thank you so much.
|Mark's Mom||Josephine Haynes|
I transferred Josephine over to you, what a small world, her husband Andrew Morris Haynes is/was my great grand uncle. Please let me know when you add information, I'd like to add the information to my family tree. The picture I posted on his memorial is very small, but it's a family Thanksgiving from 1907.
|Connie Langvardt||RE: Mary Bickenheuser|
I tried to be helpful. If you need anything else, just let me know.

I would like to check the cemetery records before transferring. Her marker gives very little information and I may find more.
