If you want a transfer, use the edit button or I will not do them.

In the future, please use the change buttons that FAG has provided. Since Ancestry has bought FAG there are triple the number of changes. I have 30 to do on my edits at the top and this is since yesterday afternoon. If you do not understand, then go read what FAG tell you about these new additions.

I do check these to see if they are correct, so if it seems to be in error, I will decline them.

Thanks for letting me know. That memorial was one I had "inherited" with the passing of Buck Buchanan. I've not reviewed all those I received from him. Thanks for pointing it out - I've requested of Find A Grave administrators that it be deleted. Please let me know if you find others.

Brenda, thanks for the advice and information. I was not aware of this Find A Grave rule. The automated Find A Grave replies were very confusing with "Content submitted does not belong in this data field" and "The memorial is up to date with submitted edit" instead of the real reason for the decline. I'll come back to this once I have confirmed his burial site and added it. Thanks again.

Brenda,

I tried to leave a link for Mrs. Andrews father, but was confused by the reason for the decline: "The memorial is up to date with submitted edit." I'm trying to understand what the problem is. Thanks so much. Have a nice day.

My husbands family came to Iowa in 1844. His 4th great grandmother Esther Whitehead married Lorenzo Dow McCain. They were from Stark Co. Ohio.

Wood products
It was only after I came to St. Regis in Pensacola was I ever in contact with our tree suppliers. For my 1st two years here, we would meet weekly with the wood purchasing person and make an order based on what the expected production from the plant would be the next week.
Otherwise, I never met the wood suppliers and for the life of me, I cannot remember that person's name.
My job always involved moving the wood brought into the mills through the woodprep area (debarking, chipping and storage/reclaiming) into the pulping and bleaching process in the places that had bleaching. I did write a paper a long time ago entitled "Let's take a walk through a Paper mill" and I did it because we had a lot of visitors at the Alabama Kraft mill. As you might suspect, each business has a "language" we learned. The paper translated the mill language into layman's terms for ease of understanding.
Want a copy, can mail it to you but must have your address. E-mail me your address at surles_tl@bellsouth.net letting me know what you want.

Jobs
As a kid I had the opportunity to plant some pine trees on farms we lived on.
After college was completed, I went to work in an fertilizer factory near Savannah GA in a research lab as a Technician, After almost two years here, I took a job in a paper mill at Cedar Springs, GA, for two years, then to Alabama Kraft company as a process engineer. Over the years learned different jobs, working as Woodprep, supervisor for a while, assistant pulping supt for 8 years, Powerhouse supt. for 2 years, Production manager for a year and pulping Supt for many years. Left there to come to Pensacola to St. Regis company as the pulping Superintendent, and retired at the end of 1999 as Power and Chemical Recovery Supt.
Yes you could say I worked the wood industry for a while. Thanks for asking.

Hiram A Couch
Spoke to Hiram's great grandson. He said that he does recall there being 2 cemeteries/headstones, but he could not recall which was the honorary headstone, only that one was honorary. I still think Princeton is the honorary one. I am sure Connie (creator of Princeton memorial who also has wife and two of his sons' memorials) will be willing to add children and wife to the one at Sunnyside so that people are aware that there are 2 sites if looking.
