I authorize anyone to use my Find a Grave images in Wikipedia or their own family research, under the creative commons attribution license cc-by-2.5, where the attribution is 'R.E.H.'."

Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

finding a grave
I was wondering if you can give me some tips on finding the graves. Do you email the cemeteries ahead of time to get locations or do you wing it. I went to a cemetery in Green Bay, WI and the lady was none to happy with me when I came in with a list of 5 names. I have lists with 20 on them so how do I approach them with that. nancy

RE: Martha De Mott Mattis
Thanks, Rich. I already reached out to Mindy about it, but that picture is much better than the one I had!

RE: Martha De Mott Mattis
Yours is #12936522, created 1/8/06 - the duplicate is actually #14046117 created 4/23/06, with a stone picture, but the names reversed.

PK Apgar
Please delete my message. I've been up for almost 24 hours. I JUST realized the years 1830-1898 was for Margaret. *slapping self*

Phineas K Apgar
According to the headstone for Memorial 13263628, Phineas K Apgar, it says that PK Apgar, who was born in 1832 and died in 1898, is Margaret's husband, not the one who was born in 1830 and died in 1911. Do you know who that PK Apgar is?

Edward J. Flanagan (1927 to 2007)

I saw the posting regarding my father's grave. I thought at first that you might have known him, but the name does not ring a bell. I appreciate what you did here. If you did know him, please contact me.

Thank you.

A Girl Who Loves Genealogy
Oh my goodness Rich
You are now up to over 142 000 memorials. You truly do take my breath away.

What is your secret in inputting? It takes me forever to get memorials input. I am truly astounded!

Thanks again for the work!
