George Reid
I have made updates to George Reid and Margaret (Crouchman) Reid. While I have retained the links between the virtual graves, I have noted that Margaret (Crouchman) Reid was not the wife of our George Reid. As well, George was not the son of Andrew and Magdalene (McDowell) Reid. Both of these errors come from secondary historical source material related to August County Reid families--and they may indeed be relatives of our George Reid--but those sources err as can be easily demonstrated by considering a timeline of the marriages of these Augusta County individuals versus when the children of those relationships were born. Further, the George and Margaret (Crouchman) Reid of Augusta County can be found in contemporary records with the different George Reid from whom we descend.

RE: Memorial 24482765
Thanks for the reply. I asked the family and he was married to both so I suppose they should both be linked to him. Gertrude was the mother of his children and they were married for 40 years.

Memorial 24482765
I am confused by the calculated relationship for Albert Hanners wife. The tombstone has Gertrude yet you have him linked to Bessie but not Gertrude. Was he married to both women?

John M. Reed 1877-1922
I'm trying to find John's gravesite to get a photo, but the cemetery office hasn't been able to find a record for him. I thought he might be buried next to his wife Maude, but the only evidence she ever existed that I've found is on his death certificate - she's not listed on the 1920 census; he shows as Single then. Do you have any other references to Maude, or any idea what block John may be in?
