I have found findagrave very useful in my research, and I am trying to give back by adding profiles and photos as I am able. I am glad to transfer memorials if I am not related to them.|
I have interests in Green and Breckinridge Counties in Kentucky, Jackson and DeKalb Counties in Alabama and Morgan, Putnam and Greene Counties in Georgia. I have relatives all over, but particularly in Texas and California. Surname interests include Wilson, Bridgewater, Meador, Pile, Payne, Weatherford, Smalley, Williams, Whitmore, Walker, Shepherd, Moseley and Veal.

You sent me a suggestion that my memorial for Fannie Jane Baldwin Pattillo was a duplicate for memorial# 4723592 - but that is my memorial. I think you meant to send it to the manager of this memorial, which is a duplicate of mine:

Could you please send me a photo of the painting of Carter Shepherd? I am talking about the one I see on ancestry.com, as an email attachment, or snail-mail --- more than happy to reimburse you.
Best -- Julian

Good Morning Joe.
You will see 'Bur,Don' name on a lot of them. She is like family to us and is the reason we made all those trips. She grew up between Monroe and Madison.
Well it is a little cooler today.
Best regards, Bud

Yup. That's what I meant. Thanks. I never would touch any marker until we came across some of our own family and then I started cleaning them very carefully. I found an old fashioned plastic windshield ice scraper and a stiff shoe brush works very well and will not scratch the stone.
See ya lata, Bud

I added the link. Say, if you are going to do the whole cemetery would you like for me to transfer all the ones I have put on in here? I have done if for three others that are taking care of photos and linking up all in one cemetery. Most have been church cemeteries. Then, when you see errors or want to add links you would not have to wait for me. Going to be hitting the road again soon, and motels and hotels are hit and miss sometimes with the good WiFi.

Thanks for catching the typo.
Looks like you have been walking that old cemetery. We traveled over there for a friend and we took a lot of photos trying to find her relatives. I do not know what happened to the photos I put on, so have changed the verbiage to correspond to your photos.
Best regards, Bud

Thanks for the correction. This is family for whom I did not have complete information. I do now, thanks to your notice.
Joe, if you was talking about Flora Cargile Smith, this is my wife's mom. Ed

You are welcome, Flora's husband Oscar in my wife Linda's uncle. Ed Forester
