I reside in Dallas, Texas. When time allows, I enjoy long walks through cemeteries, large or small. The way I see it is that cemeteries are there for the living. Those who believe that the only appropriate time to enter a cemetery is during a funeral seriously need to examine themselves. For every stone, there is a story. A story of a life lived, a life loved, and a life missed.|

Hello Erik, I don't remember having any photos inside the mausoleum. I have not spoken to the Hughes family in many years. If I ever get a chance to see them again, I'll try to find out what is going on with the mausoleum.

I just wanted to thank you again for the edit you made... it was very sweet of you to do that for me!

My grandfather married Marguerite Hughes after Marguerite and my grandfather's first spouses died. Marguerite and her first husband owned the mausoleum. I remember the inside of it is absolutely beautiful. They saved a wonderful spot for my grandfather to be placed in the mausoleum after his death, but he died out of the country and was buried there instead. The Hughes family was always very nice to me. I believe there were disagreements among them about the mausoleum after Marguerite died. That is probably why it is locked up today. That is just a guess. Did you know that Bonnie and Clyde are buried on the grounds there? Marguerite told me about it.

You left off Grandma as their child. Mae Dennis Seals. Can you add her as a sibling to Uncle Dempsey as well?

Thank you very much for the photo of Crown Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. It is a beautiful structure and we don't understand either why it is locked at all times except to the immediate family.
Our Uncle Dayton and his family are buried there.
Thanks again for the photo.

Thank you for this information. I had no idea that the grave would be inaccessible so I will remove my request. I appreciate your attempt to find it for me.
