Bio and Links
Bio Photo Working on family histories for my wife and myself, and for an ol' friend. Genealogy has been an interest for 6-7 years, and find-a-grave has helped me break through several brick walls. Interested in these surnames: Fischer, Kleman, Schnetzer, German, Beiser, Spoerri, McGeary, Jamison, Ritchey, Cochran, Leedom, McLeod, Cogan, Defibaugh, Marr, Hewitt, Finch. Presently researching in: New York City, northern NJ, southwestern PA, IL, IN, MN, & KS. I'm a former computer science guy, retired from Bell Labs, so I particularly enjoy the research in libraries and archives. Reside in Morris county, NJ.

If you will transfer the memorials to me I would appreciate it greatly. Does your old friend have any living descendants? They would technically be my cousins.

Harry Craft memorial
Hello: I just noticed that I made a duplicate memorial for Harry Craft in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, NJ. I will see about merging the two. Sorry. Chris Smith

I noticed you manage the memorial for Louis James Gallo and for his wife, Elizabeth. Are you related? I am related to Louis, if he is the son of Gennaro and Anna Avenia Gallo as you stated.

RE: George E. Hewitt, Oakwoods Cem.

I just read the bio you added to George's memorial. Wow. That explains the couple's matching date of death and choice of different cemeteries. What a story!

PS; I transferred Anna to you. I know you'll take good care of her.

Mary & Hiram Brown
Hi--I was in Union Cemetery in Altamont, IL, today and found the Browns. The monuments are just like the ones pictured on Find A Grave. I took pictures anyway, including one that shows the small stones in front of the larger one. Do you want it posted? (It's pretty ugly--all the grass is dead.) I won't do anything until I hear from you. I didn't do much to clear up your mystery!

RE: David McKee (1732-1803), Poke Run Cem.

You are very welcome. It was a pleasure. The tree is very large and beautiful and distinctive. My daughter and I enjoy helping people to connect with their history.
