RE: Robert Wilson, Eureka Cemetery
OK, that's cool. Thanks for the quick reply.
I only contacted ya because I remember way back when that I had done some requests for ya, I think probably in Mexia.
Georgetown is a nice place. I lived in Austin and Round Rock way back before the area became so expanded.
Later, James Coston (and yes, Precious is still my faithful traveling companion).

Robert Wilson, Eureka Cemetery
This is a short notice, hopefully U will get this before Sunday (2 days).
If the weather warms up and dries up a bit, I "may" go out there Sunday.
My question, U have a request in but there is a marker posted already, what are you trying to figure out for Robert & Laura, siblings.
Also, if that blue truck in the background is parked on the roadway, and yours, that may assist me in locating the spot since I have no written records of plots or layouts.
Later, James Coston

RE: Both Joseph and Lillie Mae Tinkle
I have a brother's young son buried so very near to your family. I felt compelled to photograph a few markers in the neighboring area.

So glad that I could offer my services to you!

Best regards,

RE: David Wilson
D. W., It is a very small cemetery with only the Wilson family buried there.
Located off Fairfield Rd.

Wilson, D. M. 1828 3-29-1896

Wilson, Louisa 1839 4-4-1896

It is located on the property that was the family farm. The Rascoe family now maintains it. If you will email me at I will send you the pictures that I have.

RE: Cliff and Lacie Tinkle headstone
I hope it was okay that I sent that to you. I started thinking about it and wondered if I should have (none of my business...) I just fell on it when I searched for the cemetery information to see if they were buried there or not and found it. It seemed nobody else could help him. So I hope you didn't mind!

RE: Cliff and Lacie Tinkle headstone
It looks like they are buried there according to this website:
They did a listing of people who were buried there and it lists William (Gene.) I just missed them. I will be returning and will make that my first stop in the morning.
Also came across this discussion forum that you might possibly find of interest when I looked up the cemetery info:
Maybe you have some answers for this guy? Anyway, I will look more carefully next time!!

RE: Cliff and Lacie Tinkle headstone
I just "notated" on them--by the time I got to the Fairy Cemetery, it was starting to get late, so I was rushing around. I looked for them, but was not able to find them. I probably missed them. I am going to plan another trip out there and if nobody else has picked them up, I will search more carefully and allow for more time. It had been up in the air whether I was going to make it to the Fairy Cemetery at all, but I really wanted to go. I did not officially "claim" any of the photo requests from there just in case I did not get to make it. I will plan another trip, probably in the next month. I'll give myself more time! It is so peaceful there, I would love to not have to rush through it anyway!

RE: Cliff and Lacie Tinkle headstone
You are very welcome! I love the Fairy cemetery and have relatives there as well. My dad's twin sister is buried there, so I got to take a picture of her recently placed headstone to show my dad. He grew up in Hico, so that whole area is special to me. I am glad I could help and I loved hearing your stories. I know these people were real, but I know nothing about them when I am taking the pictures of the headstones. It is nice to hear the personal side. If you ever need anything from that area again, let me know. I am always looking for an excuse to drive up there.

RE: William Elliott
You are welcome. I'm sorry, there was not any marker that I could see nor had there been one.
