After extensive research for 30 years, I am still searching for answers to questions about my ancestors. My families are Hendrix/Hendricks,Johnson, Edge, McCulloch, Hill, Kitchens, Neal, Roper, Rosser, Posey, Box, Reynolds, Terry, McBride, Linton, Owen, Graham, Holland, McCrary. If I have put info on some of our common ancestors and you want to add more info, let me know because sharing helps all of us.

Find A Grave transferred about 9,000 memorials to me that MULDER had entered. I will be glad to transfer any of those memorials to someone with info to add.

RE: Hendrix family
Thank you for messaging me. I have fond memories of visiting your parents in Decatur when I was young. I always loved going to see my Uncle Harvey and Aunt Clara with my Grandmother. Also, thank you for offering help. I am just beginning my search. It was such a wonderful blessing to see all that you have done. I desperately want to know more about my family. You have truly bestowed a blessing with your research! Maybe our paths will lead us to meet sometime in the future! I live in Hamilton, AL so I am close to Phil Campbell. I plan to visit the cemetery of our family and I also plan to go see the cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. I am excited to learn more! Again, thank you!

2 Holland cemeteries
I was doing some research with the McCrary families because of a connection with the Hodges. Anyway, because I was getting confused I noticed there are 2 listings for Holland Cemetery. One as Holland Cem. in Lawrence Co. and one as Holland Cem. in Hillsboro, Lawrence Co. AKA Rainwater Cem. There are some duplicate entries for the McCrary's. I looked at Lawrence cemeteries and the only 1 shown is the one in Hillsboro. So since you are the first to enter some of these names I thought I would bring this to your attention. Thank-you.

1948 Adoption
I saw you entered McCrary as one of your ancestors names. My mother was adopted in Alabama in 1948 and the records were destroyed in a fire. However, my grandfather remembered that the birth mothers name was Margaret McCrary. I thought I would post here in case you knew of this.

Gladys Stewart Lowery Amos Thurman
Are you in anyway related to Gladys? You listed her memorial 40258112. I am a volunteer enumerator and so I realize that this is a long shot- you probably are not related but I wanted to try. I am searching for information on her two daughters Mary Christine and Betty Marie Amos. Their father George Thomas Amos didn't raise all his children by his other marriages. One of his sons from his 2nd marriage was put up for adoption as an infant. This son is my friend and his name is Robert Louis Ames (he changed his last names spelling). He hopes to find his little half sisters. If you have any information on these girls please let me know. He has found 1 full sister and it would be great for him to find his half sisters as well. Thank you and God bless. My email address is
