Bio and Links
I am retired from full time employment after 40 years in industry and I am currently a management trainer and consultant working with companies throughout North America. My focus is Safety and Loss Contol Systems. I travel about 20 weeks a year with a current focus in Canada at the oil sands of Northern Alberta.

My wife got me interested in genealogy and I then got bit with the "Find A Grave" bug. It is rewarding to assist others in their quest.

I am surprised how many gaps there are in the listed people at the cemeteries. Some have been relocated and others were just improperly listed. It is indeed dependent on the volunteers to supply this needed information.

I try to take pictures that illustrate the location of the grave and the features of the monument. If you have any special needs for the Western North Carolina Area, send me an email.

If you have any special request or would like to manage the memorial, please contact me.

My big quest is to locate the parents of Kinson Middleton. One line ends with him in 1885 with his death. Tons of information about him, but no factual information that leads anywhere. Rumors, but no facts.

I try to take pictures that illustrate the location of the grave and the features of the monument.

I have read some of the Bio where the person thinks they are special and sound like an attorney with what should be fun. If I can help, please ask.

If you have any special request or would like to manage the memorial, please contact me.

Photo use Permission
May I use your photo of The Rev. John Brown and wife Mary Ann Jones' gravestone? They are my 3 times grt. grandparents. My line is through their son, James Stepp Brown, his son, James Anderson Stepp Brown, his dau. Caroline Brown NEAL and her dau., (my mother) Lois Neal DANIELS. Thanks for all your work here.

I found information on Matthew Smith that you may want to add to his memorial page on this link.

Thank you so much for your kindness to others may it be returned to you and yours.

Marcus L Cagle
What is the significance of the Blackwell marker on Marcus Cagle's memorial? He is buried at Dana UMC Cemetery and I have been there a number of times but am unable because of health and age to go back now. He is connected to my family though not my immediate line. I just can't figure the marker with Blackwell on it.
Do you mind my questioning it? I hope not. You have spent and awful lot of time helping others through your work with Find a Grave and I appreciate what you are doing so very much.
please send me an answer to my email if you don't mind.

Leland Levi memorial
Hello,
Thank you for creating the memorial for my uncle, Leland Levi (88973427).
I hope you are willing to add some additional information on his memorial.
His full name was Eldon Leland Levi. He was the son of Robert Frank Levi (88973427) and Hanover Demaris Beddingfield (22059246).

I see you have also added a memorial for his wife, Ezma. Her name was Ezma Avalona Laughter. She was the daughter of John Henry Laughter (88974147) and Vesta E Robertson (88974194) of Henderson Co. NC. (You submitted the memorials for her parents).

Thank you so much for your wonderful efforts to help others in their family research!
B. Levi

I had date of death for J P as 30 June and almost changed my record to agree with memorial but decided to look at marker once again. On magnification, it is a 30 and not a 20. I put a change on the memorial edit page. I hope you don't mind. I am NOT "nit picking" because I know you want the records to be right just as much as I do. I constantly have to go back and correct errors on my files. Sometimes I find them on my own and sometimes others call them to my attention which I am so thankful. I want once again to thank you for your service to others through Find A Grave. I have been resented by some on Find A Grave for asking for corrections. I hope you won't feel that way. It would be so much easier for me just to leave them be but I would feel badly for not calling them to someone's attention. I am 87 and in poor health so I cannot be responsible for memorials. I have had two people send me ownership because I dared call their attention to what I thought was an error. I feel like at my age and health it is wrong of me to take ownership, I am so afraid I will be called home and leave a memorial with no one to look after it. Right now there is still one I need to find someone to look after before my demise. Thank you for helping others and God bless you in your work.

many Henderson County names
Thank you so much for all you do for Find A Grave. You probably will get tired hearing from me. I am still digging at my genealogy, 87 and still trying to get it all tied together for my descendants. I had different dates for Della Lily Hill Case both date of birth and death. I put the edit on her memorial but wanted to tell you also and tell you thanks for all you do. You and the others who help with Find a Grave have been a great help to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you in all of your efforts to help others. Della's # 84659348. By the way, I personally remember Mattie and Hilliard from my very early childhood.
Thanks, Eleanor Morrison Lawson (emlaw2@att.net)

p.s. I am still copying your photos for my Family files and am so happy to get to have these photos for my files.
