Bio and Links
Bio Photo I wrote the following few paragraphs when I first started researching my tree. They are as true today as they were back then. However, If there's one thing that has shown to be more important than anything else it's teamwork!! No one person can document all the information that needs to be made public. That's why the edit tab at the top of your profile page is so important. Please give a look at that list of entries as often as possible. As you process the entries, visiting the memorial pages and comparing them to your own work is crucial and informative. You'll find family members that you were never able to find before, because now, they've been linked. Genealogy is not fiction, its facts. Facts about every person listed. Check it out, you never know what may have been added since your last visit.

As far as genealogy is concerned, I guess I'm a "newbie" started in 2005. My mother died in April, my step father died in July, and my sister died in October all in 2005. It finally dawned on me that all my history was gone. I've found some great people out there willing to help me to put my "tree" together. I want to give back as much as I've gotten. I take pictures of headstones in cemeteries that I visit and intend to do more. I want to share those photos with anyone who wants to use them.

If I've input some of your family and they are not relatives of mine, I'll gladly transfer them to you. Please use the edit tab on the memorial page to make your suggestions and add your links. The common courtesy of asking for changes and links instead of demanding is appreciated.

I can't stress enough the importance of the edits tab. The edit tab contains a list of corrections or additions that someone else has found for established memorials. Please look at this tab and process the ones listed for you. This is one of best "team" projects for genealogy. Let's all contribute the little pieces of information that everyone else may not have. IT'S ALL IMPORTANT.

I was wondering if you are related my great-great grandfather was Davis Stafford Meek who married Elizabeth Moore, His family was from Johnson County, however thats not true since the county wasn't formed until after 1900.
Thanks and Have A great Day

Sorry don't know why I didn't think of that. Thank you so much. I want so much to find out who Ida's father is. It is frustrating.

Miranda E Mayo is my great grandmother. She had one child before she married Joseph U King. I had her connected with my grandmother until my memorial was merged with yours. Could you please merge her with my grandmother, her daughter. Memorial # 28752188. Marie

Happy to make the additions.

No need to respond to each of my additions. I'm happy to see someone working like you.

Gill corrections
Never mind about Ruby. I was thinking of a different Ruby, Ruby Cooper Gill.

The Gill tree is very complex.

Gill Corrections
Hi Dana

Thanks for the corrections:

But I have some questions:

Are you sure that Ruby's maiden name was Sparks. I thought it was Cooper

Are you sure that Edna's first name was Mary Edna?
All the census records and the Social Security Index put her first name as Edna.

Thanks

Phil
