My Grandpa (Hance Raulerson) gave me a Bible when I graduated from High School in 1964. I put every piece of information I could in it (starting with the information in his Bible). Then I went with my Mother to a Starling Family Reunion (my Mother's Aunt Mary). Meeting this lady changed my life, she was 74 years old at the time. That's when I got interested in genealogy. Through the years I have met people who have helped me on my way, starting with Virgel Raulerson, Casey Dinkins, 'Gene' Barber, Loyce Knabb (book), and Gene Hodnett, this man was unbelievable. We went to a Hodnett Family Reunion. I took my Copying machine and was trying to get copies of this mans work, I was in our camper and he came up and said "Sue you are missing the Family Reunion You can take my papers home and copy them send them back if you want to". This was the first time I had ever met this man (yes, I took them Home when I finished I sent them back special delivery). I do not take credit for my work in genealogy, I just give credit and thanks to all those folks who have helped me through the years. I started looking at Find A Grave for my parents Memorial and got hooked. I joined so I could put flowers on my parents grave. Also, I put in at lot of information on these flowers notes. I went back looking and the folks that created my Daddy's Memorial, Alton & Loudonia, had turned the Memorial over to me. I felt like I did in1964 and that's over 48 years ago. To me it brings families back together. Thank You Alton & Loudonia.|
WHEN I FIND A ANOTHER MEMORIAL THAT IS MAKE BEFORE MY I WILL DELETE MY. EVEN IF I HAVE THE OBITUARY'S OR PHOTO. I DO NOT WANT TO CONFUSE PEOPLE. And I have came across people who don't want to give up Memorials. This is why I have took this action.

Thanks on the update of a possible duplicate. Somehow, I have not figured out how U. L. Langley equates the name of Nancy Lucinda "Whitman" Langley? Other that the dates. If the name had even been close, I would have noticed the dates? So are you wanting me to delete my memorial and you are going to take care of edits to the other memorial? Just let me know. Does not matter to me?

Noticed you placed a photo on T. J. Langley of Heard county...says wife Nancy Lucinda Whitman ? Langley...could she be the one who is buried in Worth County, GA.? Mt. Pisgah cem...same name.
I have a T. J. Langley on roster of Confederate soldiers of Colquitt co. It only says that he moved to Tift and drew a pension. But Tift and Worth are adjoining counties...trying to figure out if this is same T. J. Langley family. Any help appreciated!
