Bio and Links
Hello, my name is Laura. I grew up in southern New Jersey, have also lived in Hawaii and Pennsylvania, and currently reside in Maryland. I used to be a bookseller, dispatch specialist, CSR and anything else I could be to make a living, but now I work as a cartographer. History is very interesting to me, which is why I joined this site. I hope to make friends and discover some amazing historical tidbits. See you at the gate...

Thank you
L.....thank you for stopping by on John's memorial! I was looking up a family member's address & this link just popped out at me. It touched my heart so much to see you there. Because John was intelligent, (he was reading college level in 2nd grade)he enjoyed the conversations he had with you!! So just saying THANK YOU again!

Brady's
oops the message posted early. Thanks for the reply. Discovered from my cousin's brother (with whom she hasn't spoken in years) that he had a tree on Ancestry...although it was very small and unsourced, I was able to find some names to work with.

Again, thanks for the reply, and keep at it, I've blasted thru some brick walls in my own tree (orphans) and it was all because of sheer determination, and following weak leads and hunches...it paid off!

PS- I've found Ireland to be the toughest to research (if it's possible at all!)

Donald Brady-tombstone
I'm trying to find info regarding an Unknown Brady who was born between 1921-1931 an died between 1960-1962 in NJ. This Brady would have fought on a ship called the Francis Marion, during WWII. He named his first child (first marriage) after this ship. He died when his daughter Frances was 13, her mother was Irene Morgan of NJ, but the marriage ended in divorce not long after the first daughter was born. My cousin is just curious about her grandfather. He remarried, and had other children and was married for a number of years.

Based on the short Bio I thought you may know something about this Donald, and if he could possibly be the man. Again, my cousin is only curious for she never knew her grandfather for she was born long after he died.

That's it, thanks for your time...
