RE: transfer
Hi Bill,

Not sure of your relationship with Naomi, but she was the husband of my great uncle Russ. Russ was the brother of my grandfather, Hugh. If you don't want to transfer her (I understand), would you transfer Russ to me?

RE: Rainey - True Graveyard
Hi Bill, I remember seeing the connection, but can not remember which child it was through. I have a tree on if you would like to send me your email address I can send you an invitation to see it. I am related to all of the True's that I have found so far. You may have a closer relationship than I do to them since your grandmother was a True. You can reach me through my email I noticed you live in Lexington, as do I. I go to Winchester every weekend and mow the cemetery. Thank you for your kind words. Looking forward to hearing from you, hope I can be of some help.

RE: Thank You
Bill thank you for your reply. Do you know where General Vorder Bruegge's Children are? They were not to far off of my age as I went in at 18. I know the girl was named Mary and I think the youngest boy was Bill. And the oldest may have been named after his father? Sorry It was 1970-71 that I served under him. My first husband became his General's Aide. I got to know several Generals from that. And I guess I was a pretty special girl who went in the army. I would not have gotten in without General Westmoreland.
Now one bit of trivia I can give you Mrs Vorder Bruegge was an RN in the Army. I don't think she got to retire since you could not be in the Army and pregnant even though married.
She would have to go to the Officer wives meeting. She hated those things. She was not stiff and gossipy. She would tell my husband George that she would be home by 2 and have the pitcher of Martinis ready for her. that was a punctual thing every day
Here is my email if you would like to hear more stories.
Are you a nephew or? in the family to the General?

Thank You
Dear Sir
This is a heartfelt letter to you. I also wrote the gentleman that first placed the person here.
I see you are maintaining Briggadere General Colin F. Vorder Brugge grave site.
I had tried to find him and his wife for years. I served under him during the Vietnam War @ Walter Reed Medical Center. He was the Commanding General there The respect I have for this family cannot be expressed in words. To take a 18 year old WAC into their home so I could know them. I miss him especially every day the stories he told me and how proud he was that a little 93 lb girl got through basic training and medical training. There is a link I would like to give you of his picture as General maybe you can add it to this here with the rest.
His wife was a Army Nurse when they met. they had 2 boys and girl. I just hope you know how much it meant to me to know where they are. brought tears to my eyes. Feel free to ask me any questions

Hi bill, I asked Mike if the name Honnerkamp sounded familar and he he started go on about so an so, I had no idea who these people are but I just listened. Anyway Herbert has April 12 1911 on ssn and some other stuff. I noticed April 21 1911 on grave marker. I just thought I would let you know because I entered in edit, then I felt like I was intruding on family. Have a good day, Dawn

George J Cook
Hi Bill, I looking for my husband (fathers day) for his family. His father George W Cook and Grandma are buried in plot 20-2345 Calvary Cemetery. It shows that George J Cook is also buried there July 22 1886, I know that it must be him. All the older census list him as George A Cook 1888. Social security has him as July 22 1887. So really all I'm asking if it is Gertrude's husband? Poor man, He doesn't seem to have parents or a birth certificate listed anywhere.
sincerely Dawn Cook
