I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena. |
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past five years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

May I use the photo of the plaque you contributed to the F.A.G Memorial for Pvt. Justin Longley, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
You're welcome. I'm happy to help. I've received so much help from others I'm glad to do my part.

I am happy to help when I can. You are very welcome.

Thank you SO much. I have confirmed that Charlie Barlow's grave (and his descendant's) is at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens in Raleigh. Charlie's record is already on this website. b1888-d1962.
I have also confirmed that Herman Barlow's grave is at Raleigh Memorial Gardens (where his parents are.) The Herman Barlow plots are a little ways away from the rest of the family, but still in the Garden of the Four Prophets area of the cemetery. Hopefully I can add the photos I took of his markers. I could not find an existing memorial for him on this website.
The Barlow graves at Raleigh Memorial previously rested at a family cemetery on Six Forks Rd. To my knowledge, sometime in the 1980s my Grandmother (daughter of Gertie Barlow Spikes) approved the removal & relocation of the graves by a North Raleigh developer.

Sorry I was late getting your request done, but was in Europe for 17 days. It's all done now.
You are welcome. It was an honor.
