I retired fifteen years ago, I am a widow with two daughters, one grandson and two great grandsons. I love to read and work in my flower garden which has grown too big over the years. I work a lot on the genealogy of my family and have come to appreciate all the help that people get from findagrave. I am trying to add new information on people in our local cemeteries. I am taking pictures and reading local papers for information to add. The flower memorials I add are pictures of flowers from my own garden to make it more personal. |
I do volunteer work at the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center. I am always interested in finding out something new.
If you find errors in any entry, or have more information to add, please email me with changes.

Hello, Please allow me to take over my mother's Find a Grave site. I would like to be the person caring for it. Thank you, Mary_rawson@hotmail.com
|Kate Goyette||Arnold Stephenson Waite|
I saw that you had posted Arnold Waite's gravestone and some personal photos on him on his East Village Cemetery page. There is also a military memorial for him at East Village Cemetery. I added it with your other photos.

You entered a findagrave.com memorial for the captioned. I believe, Samuel K (Kline) Shimp, Jr. is actually buried in the Canton Baptist Church cemetery. Please, refer to my findagrave.com memorial # 35729473. The East View cemetery memorial might be dedicated to Samuel K. Shimp, SR. and Mary (Molly Newkirk) wife of Samuel K. Shimp, Sr. and makes mention of the couple's children.

hi, If you are not related, could you please transfer Cornelius Newkirk #11589376 and his wife Rachel Newkirk #11589566 to my care? They are my husband's 6th great grandparents. Thanks so much, Connie Clark :)

Thank you for the speedy transfer of Lucien's memorial. I have already added that heroic newspaper article that he was featured in. I will search the web to see if anything more comes up about him. Thanks again.

I am curious if you're a friend/relative of Charles Clifford Baldwin... I'm trying to find info on my nana's biological father. she didn't have much info on him. I know that his name was Clifford Anson Baldwin. The subject of your memorial fits the same age range of my nana, who was born August 24, 1919. My nana's father was last known to live in West Haven, Ct (born in Ansonia 1895), and with the middle name of ur subject being the same as her father's 1st name (along with the matching surname)... I'm wondering if this could be either a half-brother, or cousin, or something...??? Any info u could give me would be appreciated. My nana passed away in 1999, but I sure would love to find out more about my own history! Thank you... Elizabeth 6/5/2011
