Most of my ancestors originate from Britain and Ireland but I am researching a twig on the family tree that originates from Virgina & Missouri way way back when. I think Find A Grave is a great place to honour my ancestors and to help others follow the trails I have been on. I am located in Canada and its hard for me to do on-site research in other places. So, many thanks to all who post info and photos. Hopefully someone will find the info I post useful too. If you do, send me a message or place some flowers in my relatives' memorials. Cheers, Tracy Anne.|

Thank you Tracy for submitting the photo for this plot believed to be Benjamin Sherring. The middle H in his name shows as Herbert and I am looking for the H relating to the name 'Hayden" for the same fore & sur names. The one I found in Winnipeg has no middle initial and no gravestone or marker either but is believe to be Benjamin "James" Sherring which is the son of Benjamin Hayden Sherring. The marker I am looking for is a massive 5 or 6 foot stone cross built by Ben Sherring (stone mason)and believed to be his own gravemarker. It is possible that the marker was destroyed but by its size, it seems that part of it would remain. Thank you again for your time and contribution of the photo.

Thank you very much for the photos from Hartney. Is it a very big cemetery? Did you happen to notice if there are other Cooks buried there?
Thanks from BC,

Thanks Tracy Anne
For the photos for Abigail & Stewart. It is disappointing to hear Annie and Robert are probably on the monument that has toppled over. Why is it monuments fall face first and not on there back where they would helpful? I appreciate you taking the effort to locate them for me.
