In my youth, I often looked through the box of old family images and negatives that was stored far away in the closet. Who are these people and what do they mean to me? While at college, my Architectural studies allowed me the opportunity to work in the Photo Lab. This experience enabled me to take those negatives and make them real, and as such was my first opportunity to create a family album and to understand our family's history. The start of a life long effort! |
The advent of the computer and the internet just made it all that much easier. Over the years I have enjoyed making connections with family in the name of family research. There is a lot of information available from various sources and it takes one family member to organize it and make it available to all!
As past president of Clan MacCallum/Malcolm Society of North America Inc and now their "Family History Coordinator" I truly value our rich heritage and I endeavor to assist others in their ancestry quest.

Thank you for taking the nice, clear picture of my mother's headstone in Forest Hill Cemetery. I was born and raised in Madison, but now live in Nebraska. I had been thinking of making a photo request, but now I won't need to! Thanks again!

May I put your photo on Ancestry.com with credit given to you? Thank-you, Joni
Wow! You surely filled my request quickly and so carefully! Thank you so much for taking photos of my great uncles' graves. So very gracious of you to do this for us genealogists!

Thanks so much for getting the grave site photographed. I know it's difficult to get good pictures in over-cast and shaded memorials/stones. My cousin will appreciate the effort you've gone to photograph her parents. If I can reciprocate in getting a photo for you, email me and I'll get right on it. We have so-so photographers out here. Some are very good, others just want the numbers...so many have to be retaken to get clear images. Thanks again...I appreciate it.

Thank you for the photo. With help from volunteers, I'm getting close to having this family documented on Find A Grave.
