Most of my ancestors originate from Britain and Ireland but I am researching a twig on the family tree that originates from Virgina & Missouri way way back when. I think Find A Grave is a great place to honour my ancestors and to help others follow the trails I have been on. I am located in Canada and its hard for me to do on-site research in other places. So, many thanks to all who post info and photos. Hopefully someone will find the info I post useful too. If you do, send me a message or place some flowers in my relatives' memorials. Cheers, Tracy Anne.|

I am always happy to find family for the folks in that cemetery. It is such a sad place.

Here's a bio for Margaret Lumb if you could credit my name it would be appreciated:
Margaret Lumb nee Williams 1843-1917 (b. Conwy, Wales) was the 4th daughter born to Robert Williams Esq. 1804-1869 of
Saethon, Llanfihangel Bachellaeth, Llanbedrog, Caernarvonshire, Wales. and Johanna Hurly 1806-1846 of Cork Ireland.
The family traces its pedigree back to the kings and princes of northern Wales notably Rhodri The Great c. 820-878 (Margaret's 25th great grandfather).
Margaret's siblings were:
Jane Williams 1834-
John Williams 1835-
David Williams 1837-1900
Anne Williams 1839-1914
Julia Williams 1841-1922
and Hannah Williams 1846-1846 with whom her mother, Johanna died following childbirth.
Margaret married Thomas Lumb 1844-1899 a wine merchant on August 18th 1871 in Manchester, England. The couple had a number of children together including:
Agnes de Kirkby Lumb 1872-1934
Maude de Kirkby Lumb 1875-1967
George de Kirkby Lumb 1877-1966
Ida de Kirkby Lumb 1878-1967
Thomas de Kirkby Lumb 1880-1964
Robert Goldsmith Hurley Lumb 1882-1942
Gwenydd Gwynn Lumb 1885-1984
Rowland Conway Lumb 1889-1970
The family emigrated to Canada in May of 1891 settling in Souris, Manitoba. Daughters's Ida and Margaret became recognized artists in Canada and George de Kirkby Lumb left for San Diego, California dropping the surname Lumb, revising "de Kirkby" and opting for George de Kirby.
George's son, Ivor de Kirby became a high profile citizen of San Diego rising to the position of city councillor and deputy mayor. Daughter, Annette was a child actress for a brief time and appeared in the silent film "Dog Heaven" an episode in the long running "Our Gang/Little Rascals" comedies.
Margaret is lovingly remembered by her direct descendants in Canada and The United States of America.

Thank you very much for getting back to me. I checked out the website that your recommended, however his name was not there. I hope the snow goes away quickly, as I am so ready for summer also to wait for the picture of his headstone. Thanks again and have a great day.

|Dinsmore family||RE: Clarence Dinsmore|
Thanks much for the info about the site to possibly get the obit for Clarence and possibly any of his family. Realize the snow maybe an issue for getting photos of the stone for Clarence and possibly Mrs Clarence. This is my first request on Find a grave. My nephew has posted items on the site and told me about it. It sounds like an interesting work to post grave stones to help families. Will be waiting for the wonderful help from a volunteer. Thanks for your work and info!

Thanks for your very prompt reply from which it looks like I will be able to get the Obituary, but would still like the grave photo WHEN you get an opportunity. Much appreciated
