I got into genealogy in 2007 and I just love it. The main families I'm researching are: Powers, Bell, Benford, Warren, and McIntosh on my father's side and Hawk, Herndon, Dunlap, Lunsford, and Davis on my mother's side. I will gladly share any information I have.|

Janie, it's ok, I won't mind and accuracy is more important than numbers. ;)

Yes, I have been to both cemeteries and each memorial that I created is in the correct cemetery. It appears to me that Antioch cemetery is a small black cemetery, and Antioch Baptist Church is/was a white church cemetery. This was several years ago, and I think I remember telling the person who placed memorials in the wrong cemetery about it, but never followed up to see if they did anything about it. I can't force them to place them in the correct cemetery. I'm thinking that they got the info on line and placed them in the wrong cemetery by mistake. For the small Antioch cemetery, I took photos of every marker that I could see, however, there may be many without markers. Not sure what to tell you, only that all of mine are correct, in fact when I realized that there were two cemeteries with the same name so close to each other, I created Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery to try to sort it out. I think this person placed Antioch Baptist Church people in the Antioch cemetery, because it was the only Antioch cemetery in Henry Co on Find A Grave at the time.

The other is probably right. I deleted the memorial I had added. Two cemeteries are across the street from each other. One comes over and part of it is inside the other. I didn't know that at the time. Thanks

Thank you for the information regarding her gravesite in Mississippi. I have notified, per their instructions, Find A Grave to mark her memorial with the Alabama headstone as being a cenotaph. Seen a few cenotaphs here before but not often. Thanks again.

She is buried in St Stephen's cemetery. In an area that is close to Greenwood cemetery. There are no fences. So, if you do not know the layout, it might be easy to get the two confused.

Thanks. Yes, that helps. I've seen David / Daniel misinterpreted many times. Amazing how much alike they look when handwritten. I cannot find any record anywhere that gives the father the "Sr." title. I am reluctant to use it on his memorial if he didn't use Sr. himself when living. But I'll put a note in his bio that his son used Jr.
