Bio and Links
Bio Photo It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 7 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials) Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!

For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings

PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS on any site that you have to pay to get into the site. I took the photographs for the entire world to use for free!
I spent my time photographing, editing & entering them for their family so they might see what they look like now. I did not take them for someone that does not care about them one bit except to make a profit! Richard Glenn Meador

My Grandparents' Headstone
I just wanted to say thank you so much for contributing pictures of my grandparents grave. I've never seen it before this evening. I was fairly young when they passed and we live on the west coast (they are buried in Arkansas).
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You have definitely paid it forward.
May nothing but love & goodness grace your life!

Charles Willaim 'Charlie' Meador
Hello Rock Talker. My name is Edwin Lee 'Sandy' Meador. I am one of Charles William Meador's Great Great Grandsons. His seventh child, Charlie Harmon Meador, is my Great Grandfather. Harmon's son William Martin Meador is my grandfather. Martin's son William Royce Meador is my father.

On Charles' page you show only 9 children, with Joseph Arnett Meador shown twice. Charles and Mary Angelina Meador had 12 children. Here are the ones not listed:

Armedia Victoria Meador Terry 1876-1952
Julia Wordnia Meador Ayers 1883-1954
Sarah Lovinia Meador Bowling 1893-1917
Nettie Burma Meador 1899-1900

I have details on each of them and their families if you would like to add them to your work. Very nice job on the content and accuracy of your information. Not sure how to share information, but I'll give you my e-mail address if you want to share.

Thanks - Sandy

Thank you so much for the reply and information. This will help her so much. Most of her ancestors came from the Oklahoma area, Cherokee. So she has a job ahead of her but is loving being a new genie! :)
Take care and thanks again.

Floyd Martin
My niece is looking for info on her great grandfather Floyd Martin. I'm writing on behalf for her, she is just getting started in genealogy. Do you know the name of the undertaker that may have handled this gentleman? I assume Hackett is the town/city? Any information I can relay would be most gratefully accepted. Her family has been broken apart for many years and now she is interested in putting back some of the pieces.
You may chat with me direct if you wish
I am very happy for her to start this project for various reasons. I myself have been doing genealogy for a long long time. :)
Thank you sir for the post of the stone; it is a very good picture.
Cheers and God Bless

Cleland and many SC & NC names
Thank you for your work with Find A Grave. You make it possible for me and others in my category who are unable to visit cemeteries any longer to visit through Find A Grave. I am aged and in ill health and cannot travel. May God bless you in all your efforts to help others through your work with Find A Grave. I am working hard at my efforts to have my family files where all of my descendants and others connected to see their heritage. Thank you for helping.

I am also descendant from Meador. My mother Juanita M. Milton (Texas) born to Bessie Roberson (Texas) born to Nancy Isabel Meador (Arkansas) born to Flemin Meador (Kentucky) born to Jonas Meador (Tennessee) born to Fleming Meador (Virginia) and Susannah Claiborne.

It appears to me that you have information or access to the cemeteries in and around Fort Smith, Ark. If so, do you have any information on Alice (Allie) Milton. She was my great grand mother. I have nothing on her except she died in the early 1900's in Fort Smith. She is supposed to be buried there (according to my grandmother). She was married to Vernon/verner Milton. Can you maybe point me in the right direction to find the information I need? I don't know if she has marker but surely there is a record of her somewhere.

Any help will be appreciated.
