Thank you so very much for the transfer of my great, great grandfather. I wish we could find where he is buried. Maybe someday.
|Brenda White Broadway||Noble L Reyer|
Thank you so much for the transfer. I would not have known of his death otherwise. I have linked him to his parents. He was a distant cousin to my mother-in-law, Mellie Reyer Broadway. She did genealogy research for more than 40 years prior to her death in 2000.

Buried in Cogbill, Wynne, Arkansas.
Could you correct his sisters' names:
Mrs. Carl Schlegel, and Mrs. George W. Bawden.
Mrs. G. W. Bawden's great-granddaughter

Just for information, the book Confederate Colonels has a short paragraph on Col. Josey which mentions that he married Clementine J. Borum in 1864. She was the daughter of Col. Joseph Beverly Borum who is also buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis. I haven't located a memorial for Clementine yet. Since they were only married a short time, she probably remarried. She would have been about 27 when he died.
It appears that Josey's parents were Emanuel Josey and Mary Meathers Josey, but I haven't located their memorials yet.
I realize you can't really do anything with this information, but I pass it along in case it may assist others.
Thanks for your work on Find-A-Grave.

Mr. Isbell, Diane's maiden name was Diane Pierce. Her Mother was Toy Coleman, I can't remember Aunt Toy's first husband's name but they had 3 children. Charles Ray, Ricky Don, and Diane. All of them are now deceased so I will try to find out more info to pass along on Diane and her relations.
