Hi!! My love for my own family history as got me looking in every cemetery I can find now. Just to take headstone photos. This is my way of preserving them for future generations to be able to see headstones of their long lost relative.
I have found in my search there's a lot of headstones that are unreadable or broken now. So I know I'm helping someone down the road who is looking for their family members headstone.
I do make memorials of some of the ones I find. But mostly of just my own family members. I have well over 5,000 headstone photos that I have taken in the past 3 years.
I love the history of each cemetery, and each cemetery, each headstone has it's own story to tell. You just have to look and pay attention to learn their story. My family always calls my attention to opposite side of the road, if they see a cemetery on the road before I do. They've learned over the years that if I see it we're stopping.
I have met a lot of awesome people who go way out of their way to take photos for me. I'm very thankful for all those who have helped me find my family headstones in photos. | |

Thank you very much for the photo of Texanna's grave marker. She was my 2nd great grandmother. I know good and well that there was a photo it here before, but someone must have quit Find A Grave and taken their photos with them, because they went missing at some point.

Doris Ellen, his daughter, and I used to play a lot together. Roland used to get a kick out of my eating habits. Ice cteme wise it was vanilla only.
